As usual, I really enjoyed your post yd1.......also, thank you for taking the time every Friday to give us some thoughtful and entertaining info and messages.

I'm not so sure the coaches hold back anything......not sure they CAN think that far ahead. They can't even make gameday adjustments.

I mentioned before that IF we can field an OL we will win comfortably because Ole Miss is simply overmatched.

As usual....we'll see.....unbelievable that I'm never confident anymore.

I'm not as concerned about the def as i was last year. i really don't understand this "vanilla" thing with our coaches. We are worried about the future opponents somehow being able to figure us out if we play the game like we should. I believe that Grantham gameplans for the current opponent and our defense plays accordingly. Only team to really have owned our def is Boise and I think the defensive coaches panicked and pulled a Bobo (when Bobo abandons the run too quickly). We were getting plenty of pressure on Moore and then poof, we stop and get torched. I do believe that with MSU's crappy QB we will pressure him into mistakes just like with Ol Miss. I've completely given up on trying to figure out the offensive side of the ball, except to say we seem to be able to score some points, but we still can't ice a game in the 4th qtr with a lead, AND Murray still can't hit a stationary school bus inside the redzone.
