True Fans

I true fan is someone who supports his team no matter what the W/L is at the end of a season. They wear their teams colors every Saturday. They want the BEST for their team. And if they are true georgia bulldawg fans they get on this website to communicate with others

I don't think differences in opinion make a bit of difference as to whether or not you are a fan.

That's why it's quite offensive when people say criticism of the program or lack thereof makes you a fan or not
a fan.

The word itself is similar to love in that it's sometimes
hard to define and can mean different things to different
people.

Imo there isn't one true definition. Everybody's love for UGA is based on their own personality, values and upbringing........i.e. everyone's love for UGA is unigue ONLY to them.

When it comes to measuring a "fan"......no one is right or wrong in theory, just sometimes in application.

A "true" fan is one that doesn't shake or wobble when used on high speed, and evenly distributes airflow throughout the room.

Oh, my bad...wrong type of fan.

In my opinion, a true fan is the one who wakes up on Sunday, win, lose, or draw, and still has the passion, the love, and the respect for their program to come back to sites like this, or meet his buddies at the coffee shop, or go to work on Monday morning, and debate topics such as head coaches and O coordinators, etc.
