Smart is ready to come to Athens and has already been talked too. Who makes the final call idk and if and when idk but I do know he's been asked if he wants the job.

I would welcome Smart, but he is unproven. It would be a coin flip.

Would love Patterson. Would love Petersen. Would strongly consider Mendenhall.

I do think recruiting would go up one notch with Smart, plus he's a Georgia man.

Wonder if he would keep CTG since he runs the 3-4 already??? Seems like with Smart recruiting studs on the D, and CTG knows the 3-4, it would be a seemless transition.

If CTG goes to Bama like someone suggested, I bet the LB coach from bama would be the new DC.

Seriously though... I know we finished that season pretty darn well, but the
program has had some bad mojo ever since then. It's almost as if the football gods
went ahead and let us have our fun that year and then have been paying us back
in spades ever since.

So I've decided to bring in a witch doctor and a priest to perform a program
exorcism on Friday morning.

We just need to make sure someone shows up with a live chicken. I'm bringing the
garlic, and Buc will handle the holy water.
