Dan Mullen

All of you calling for Dan Mullen to replace Mark Richt...didn't Mullen's top-20 MSU team just lose horribly (the final score does not reflect how not-close the game was) to an unranked, picked-to-place-fifth-in-the-West Auburn team? Didn't Dan Mullen just manage to do the exact same thing Mark Richt did, except his team was favored and didn't look nearly as good as the Dawgs did?

I'm not saying aught about Mark Richt. But let's not rush out and buy the pretty new model that has the same problems as the old model.

Mullen is still more competent that Deacon Richt. The MSU QB went down like Chuck Long on that last play.

I like Mullen because he is aggressive and has taken a much less talented team and made them into a real team. Yes he lost yesterday to auburn but he had the sense to see what was working and stick with it, rather than not. Plus his track record. I mean for goodness sake look at MSU now compared to when croom was there.

The fact that MSU almost beat any Auburn team in Auburn shows how far MSU has come. And the expectations at MSU have risen to the point they are pissed they lost instead of just shrugging it off.

Richt is soft. He needs to go.

I also feel as I said yesterday, if you couldnt get the feel of that game such as in the first QT, we had um!!! if we had been aggressive no doubt we would have had TDs instead of FGs. But we let um off the hook. I know CDM would not have setteled for FGs in that situation knowing you are playing a SS team and when he comes back he will be scoring TDs. we needed those TDs our ground game was killing them at that point in the game!!!

I agree. Believe Gus Malzhan is our man.
