The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

The coaches deserve all the blame for this one. We had the chance to put 'em away early but like always, get conservative on O when we get in FG range. And the coaches are responsible for teaching the line how to block instead of getting Murray murdered and fumbling. And abandoning everything and passing on every play in the 3rd and 4th quarter leads to int's and the qb getting crushed.

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

I want to say I got to see a good ball game today. OK I'm saying it. It was a good game.
It was an exciting game with the back and forth scoring. I thought we were going to get the win until the last few minutes. Good game. Too bad no cigar.

Sadly, I think we are stuck with Richt for the rest of the season.
The situation at UGA is toxic. The coaching staff knows that a fire sale is coming, so they have no incentive to innovate and make improvements. They're all just going through the motions at this point because they know they'll have to look for new jobs after this season. However, they can't practically be gotten rid of before then. You can't fire Richt mid-season and promote a coordinator as interim coach, because Bobo and Grantham have to be let go as well. The whole staff needs to be gutted and replaced, and that isn't something you can do in the middle of the year. So, we have a coaching staff that has no desire to win because they see the inevitable coming, but at the same time there's nothing we can really do about it until the season is over.
Having watched Auburn these past two games, I believe Gus Malzhan is our man. He could make the most immediate use of the talent we have on offense. He has won everywhere he's gone.

I'm putting this one on Bozo. Why don't you run the ball more when it has been working. Why throw when you need a solid clock consuming drive? Why throw on 3rd and 1 or 2? Especially when the run has worked. You set up the pass with the run. Not vice versa Bobo!

It was a better effort for sure and saw some good things.........but also saw untimely mistakes by both the players and the coaches, and since the players are the coaches's responsibilty it all falls back on them.
In the end the result was the same......we gave up a 180 yds to Lattimore, we let a quarterback that perhaps was having one of his worst games ever, and the OLD BALL COACH beat us again.
I vote for Malzahn, the Auburn offense is awful impressive considering all of the new starters.
UGA 0-2
