Wartdawg, my thoughts exactly. I have been a Bobo blaster since he took over. He is still terrible, but I am going to give him a pass on this one. Offenses usually struggle out of the gate. We did, but just watching, I think it had to do more with individuals. TK, definitely did not look like he was ready to step up. Murray, looked rattled, and our OL is just not very good right now. I hope they will get better.
Back to the defense. That is where my problem was mainly at. When we blitzed, good things happened. Can't figure out why I wathced us rushing 3 guys 80% of the time. Moore picked apart our zone because he had all day to throw the football. For the life of me, I am trying to figure out why we weren't bringing the house and playing man free with a deep safety.
Overall, I am very disappointed in all of them. Starts with Richt and goes down to the players. Neither performed.
Not going to write the season off just yet, but after what I saw Saturday, CMR and the rest of the coaching staff better do some serious soul searching. Not going to bring religion into it. I played for a man that was very similar to Richt. Probably even a little more calm on game days. He always said if he had to go crazy on Saturdays, then he didn't do his job during the week. He is about to win his 300th game to go along with 5 NC's. That is the key difference though. He is still winning. Richt is not.
Winning is what matters, and they aren't doing it. CMR has very little time to prove his worth. Keep this up with no change, you don't fire a coach because his religion, and you don't keep a coach because his religion. Mac will make the change for the better if thats what is needed.
Better get their minds right quickly because usc will be faster and more atletic than boise.
