I agree totally Buc. I thought our offense moved the ball a little better in the 2nd half. Our defense changed. The first couple of possession, we were getting after it. Dont know if people remember the play by Boykin on the pass deflection. Perfect coverage. What coverage was it we opened in, MAN. It was evident on that play, their joes were not as athletic as ours. Fast forward to the end of the first half, and second half. We are sitting back in a zone rushing 3 or 4. Even on the pic by Smith. Watch the play. It is man free. Smith just left his man and made a play on the ball. Then, watch the other TD passes. In all but the one play action on the goal line, we are sitting back in zone giving Moore all the time he wants. WHY? Why not bring the house. Instead of letting 5 or 6 block 3 or 4, why not bring 6 and man up. Hell, it couldn't have done any worse plus hits wear on a QB that is not used to being hit.
No argument about getting out coached, but we also got out played. Not hating on the players, but that is just what is was. A total piss poor effort by everyone. I know where it starts, and believe you me, he better change something cause right now after the last 2 games I have seen(ucf and bsu), I am ready for Kirby.
GO DAWGS
Would never have guessed that you played and coached football . . . .
I DVR'd the game also. It bothers me a lot that we slipped into the zone. Must say this, even in zone or any cover scheme, what happened in Atlanta makes me wonder about defensive game planning. Had a dad gone year to scheme for exactly what Boise State did on the field . . . . what??
