From Athens- Game Day Friday # 1

Is it Saturday yet? Is it Saturday yet? Man, these next 36 hours are going to draaaaaag on out. Can't wait to see the Dawgs hand it to BS. Good things this year, kids.

Can't believe it's finally here! Got the kids up and dressed for college colors day and will be up bright and early tomorrow morning jacked for Georgia football! Been catching some of SEC's greatest games on FSS this week. All Dawg victories! Comeback on AU in 96 in the SEC's first OT game(famous UGA attack on AU Wide receiver) and the OT win over AL in 07(Stafford to Mikey Henderson). Hope this is some foreshadowing to the weekend. This game has all the makings of a thrilling Dawg win where I jump and cheer and carry on so loud my neighbors ponder calling the po po!

GATA Dawgs! Beat those smurfs! It's going to be a long trip back to Idaho for the potato eatin' ponies!

YD, great Friday post as always. Really looking forward to seeing how the Dawgs come out. No doubt in my mind the players and coaches have put in the work this year. Now, go cash those pay checks Saturday and have some fun.

I am concerned about our safety play, but have a weird feeling we are going to end up better there than I expect. Williams has been through a lot adversity. Tough, good size, hard nosed kid. Works hard and has earned everything he has gotten. I personally like Cummings ball skills more than any other option back there. Hope they succeed.

I really look at the safety position as a sign of times are changing. Rambo started every game last year, and was a 2nd team All SEC selection this preseason. I am not saying Rambo won't play or end up starting, but seems Richt and staff are taking a produce now or don't play mentality. That type of competition breeds success, and I am not sure Richt has always done that.

Could just be me, but seems to me Richt has a hell of a hand to play at the table. Time to go all in Saturday.

Great post YD. My ONLY regret going into this game is that we don't have the greatest voice in college radio calling the game because I fully expect IC to have at least one "my GOD, a freshman!" moment tomorrow.

Just as important as the new talent infused into this team is the new attitude! Here's to seeing a bunch of rabid dawgs chowin' down on some pony steaks tomorrow night. GO DAWGS...GATA!!!!
