Boise State is ranked number 5 in the nation. In the past two YEARS your team is 26-1. During that time you have beaten Oregon and Virginia Tech. You are the CLEAR favorites in this game. Yahoo College Pick'em fans are picking your team 2 to 1, which is a HUGE disparity - in other words, BSU is by FAR the HEAVY favorite in this game.

Home field advantage is known to give an average value of only 3 points (ask Vegas).

Likewise, you are playing a 6-7 team. UGA lost to Central Florida in the Liberty Bowl. We lost to Colorado. COLO-FREAKIN'-RADO! Coached by none other than Dan Hawkins, the Jedi Master himself! We are 14-12 over the last two seasons.

There is no way BSU can lose this game, by ANY account. So why are you only a 3 point favorite, when you are ranked 5th in the nation? Doesn't that make you wonder why?

The flight from Boise will be no more than a few hours. UGA takes longer than that on the bus ride to Auburn, so that's not it. It has to be something else.

Perhaps one place to start your search would be BSUs scheduling. Seriously, whether you win this game as expected or not, you guys really need to beef up the schedule. UGA THIS YEAR should NOT be considered a "quality opponent".

Oh, to be sure, spc_ops, I was making a point that you definitely got. Your team is NO powerhouse. Your schedule for the last two seasons (we don't need to go any further back, do we . . . hmmm?) IS the little-sisters-of-the-poor. Gaudy stats, my friend. We had gaudy stats too, against Idaho State and Louisiana Lafayette.

Ohio State plays a MUCH tougher schedule than Boise State. And even THEY aren't as good as their record would make some believe.

You know this to be true, spc_ops. The truth hurts, doesn't it?

Again, and you've made note of it - we lose this game, our HC DESERVES to be fired. You guys lose, and - honestly, now spc_ops - your team will still go no worse than 10-2 with that schedule.
