I agree 100% it is Richt's fault. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. He is the captain of the ship. If there were atheletes on the team that were bring others down, deal with it then. He should have dealt with the off field issues in 2008, not 2011.
One of the things that I keep in mind and also has been said by wlayton. When there is cancer in the family, it has a way of messing with one's mind.
You and I are on the same level justlow, just want UGA to play hard. That is what we see when schools like Boise State play. While they have a schedule that a lot of folks would like to have, it does not stop them from giving 100%. Same can pretty much be said about Alabama.
When you look at the two schools mentioned, they became "football teams" when they had the right coach in place. Not calling for Richt's head right now, maybe never. However . . . . with the schedule we have this year and we don't come out kicking some butt, know where my vote can be counted. Enough is enough. We have talent on both sides of the ball, makes me wonder what could be missing . . . . Maybe an offensive coordinator? Richt has another decision to make, hope he does not drag his feet . . . . again, and go through the same routine he went through with his college buddy.
I am excited about this group of football players, wish I was as excited about all of our coaches. Can't help going back to coaching, seems I cannot escape from what I see as FACT.
