It seems to me like Richt finally has that fire in his belly again. From '08 -'10 he seemed kind of complacent and lack luster. This year he has a look in his eye. Maybe its just me.

Hey Buc, did you get my private response back to you about the PGA tournament (and that other private response last week)? I'm technically challanged (or maybe better said, that I don't take the time ,yet, to figure all this stuff out.

Unlike DD....at least he's taking the time to try.

wlayton, did get the message from last week, thank you my Brother. You are a special person.

Did not get a second one on the PGA. I have a lot of memories from that area. I had a business located just north of there back in the 70's. I know that it has changed so much, long time ago. I was a member at East Lake in Decatur. Many memories there also. Mr. Jones' spirit still roams that course. That is a good thingy. Really enjoyed watching the PGA and of course, my computer is always "dialed in". Glad to see these young sprites not showing fear, looking for the same from our football team this season.

On the Richt thingy. I think/hope he has learned a lesson the last couple of years that justlow mentioned. Any young stud is going to take advantage of any situation that presents itself. Not all, some. Those of us on this board have witnessed that. Really believe that we finally have the coaching talent to go along with the on field talent.

I'm with you Buc, I think/hope he's learned it as well. There's evidence from the departures this offseason. True we lost some talent, but we also lost people with bad attitudes that could have potentially held the team back. Which ones left on their own and which ones were pushed out we'll never know, but what matters is Richt was doing something about the attitude problem and off field issues. I'm optimistic but also like you, don't want to have to eat crow again.

Buc and justlow, in thinking about that '08-'10 lackluster period justlow mentioned, do ya'll think CMR could have been distracted (and quiet about it) if his wife Kathryn had been having more health problems and nobody knew?

Total speculation on my part but CMR isn't the type to announce anything private and personal to bring attention to whatever situation may have come up.........just wondering out loud.

wlayton, promise this is the truth. Was thinking the same thing recently, and here you mention it.

Sometimes folks don't know how to ask for help. That is probably more of a "macho" thing. Maybe . . . . someone from higher up knew and has been said before . . . patience is a virtue.

Richt hurt the team by trying to do too much, McGarity recognized that in the first meeting. Problem solving can be a huge issue or it can bring benefits that come from strength.

Richt needs to get back on the wagon and do his job, he is not in this by himself. Over 90,000 are with the Dawgs everytime they dress out to play between the Hedges.

Small world wlayton. . . . . :)
