Caleb King out?

Best I remember, King wanted to show Crowell the ropes when he arrived on campus.

Not quite sure what is going on at UGA. Help is available, especially to the folks that play football.

This does not speak well for the Atlanta School System that has the responsibility for getting these young men ready for the next step.

Not sure what it says about UGA losing folks and wasting scholarships that could be used better. Maybe that is why some of the schools that don't get the 5* athletes do well on the next level. Yes, like Boise State.

I realize that chances have to be taken, just hate the fact that these young men have their collective heads up their . . . . .

We seem to go from one extreme to another.

Personally like the fact that Boo Malcome will get reps. I want to believe that he will be more than an adequate back. Summer is not over, crossed fingers.

OSD, agree. There seemed to be a slip three or so years ago, and I think we are now paying the price. No reason, absolutely no reason not to have a classy running back at UGA. Did Richt finally see the light? Not being ugly, trying real hard these last few years to figure out what happened to UGA FOOTBALL.

Send all of those quarterbacks to the NFL that you want, does not pay big dividends in the SEC as far as championships. Richt definitely leans toward the QB position. Good for the young men that play that position, still does not work toward beating folks that stand in our way not only on the East Side, West Side also. Great for the Detroit Lions, groomed a player for them.

Winning starts with protection of that "Richt type quarterback". Question is, how does that protection look this year . . . Cordy Glenn was within a silly millimeter of leaving for the NFL. Where the hell would this years team be without Cordy?

Bobo and Richt went nuts last year, (or close to that) telling AM to stay in the pocket. Tell you what Bobo and Richt, you guys stand in that supposed pocket that you are talking about. AM ran because he knew that he could score some points or . . . keep folks like those Auburn folks from killing him. Auburn almost ended AM's college career. AM stayed in the pocket and we all know what happened. My bet is that he is going to be using those wheels this season. What choice is he going to have? One old man's opinion.

Some folks don't like to talk about the game passing Richt by. My question is this, why does it pass other coaches by and not Richt . . . . The more I look, the less that I like. Said in more than one thread on this board . . . . explain to me why Richt and Bobo should not be on the hot seat. These are the players that they have recruited, why are we (UGA) coming up short. . . .

Now we have Crowell, Jenkins and others, do we have excuses this year, and if we do, what are they . . . . bad recruiting, bad coaching . . . maybe I just do not understand.

Comes down to this. In Atlanta we will see just what has changed or remained the same in Athens.

Go Dawgs . . . Coach Them Up!!

GaBoi, there is no denying that you are on the mark. Also believe this, ogredawg was going by what the print media was laying out there. Also, what he thought.

Another thing that really rattles my cage is the fact that those working for the press can and will lead the masses where they want to take them.

I think that it should go something like this, agree or disagree.

In life all of us are given a time period. Whether that conforms to a certain schedule or if it is left open for decisions to be made down the tracks, without an ending, don't believe it is left up to the individual.

Do not feel that as yet there is a good foot hold in Athens. McGarity has changed some things, but as yet he has not had to remove a person that might cause a second thought outside the City of Athens or the State of Georgia.

GaBoi, you did refer us back to a link, and as a member of this board, it is appreciated. All of us however need to remember that we have posted many thoughts and while some are on point, others are not.

I find myself looking back at some of my posts, gets embarassing. Figure I don't know as much as I thought I did at the time of the post.

I want to see UGA get back on stride, whether it be coaching or players, tired of the BS that players such as King have produced since arriving on campus in Athens.

Another note. . . . do not give a ship whether or not Orson Charles or others want to tell us what they think Caleb King amounts to as a human being, King did all of this to himself. Orson Charles needs to say that Caleb King needs to think about the person that he took money from that was trying to help him. By the way, King did not pay the person back. Does that not count, or is Orson Charles one of the athletes that thinks he is above the fray. If so, I say piss on him.

Give me football that was played many years ago. I will never stop posting or forgiving the crap that is college football today. Ready for this . . . . Richt is lost. Had to have someone come in from the University of Florida . . . . GATORS . . . . to wake him up. Richt has one coach left that can save his butt, Bobo, you believe that, bye bye Richt. Sorry folks, Richt is not the right head coach for UGA, he had a good run, just did not know how to move FORWARD.

Said a few months back, not going to let up on the coaching staff. That is a promise. Watch you each and every day Richt. How does it feel to know that your time is short? Who caused that? The players or the coaches that YOU HIRED? Boise State is just around the corner, after that Spurrier will pay a visit. READY, Coach Mark Richt? Pretty simple, just a Saturday afternoon in Athens between the HEDGES, playing the Gamecocks.

Don't know if many of you guys have a facebook, but I have heard the "comment" rumors about IC so I logged onto my wife's FB and checked to see if I could see his "wall" where his comments show up. This one was posted 9 hours ago it says from a phone...

"Bert boy stop wildin down dare..I kno u gota get it but be smart bra.stay up man.ion need nun of my niggas gone when I cum back, and take care of my Lil nigga Stevo while I'm gone.f*c da police they bring us no piece! ! ilove y'all g $afe.."

I read a couple of more posts and I gotta be honest...very concerned about the character of this young man. I know in April they said he shut down the social website accounts but this one seems accurate if you read everything on the page. Hopefully thriller or another dawg has some insight on this and it isn't how he really acts. I can't go through another season with someone acting like they run everything and aren't concerned about the team or university. JTIII break em' down or Richt kick em' out.

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN
