yankeedawg1, I am in the same camp with you on Coach JT. For sure the group in Athens working out under his guidance know that he means business. Need only take a look at one player that was dismissed for a while for the type of attitude that seemed to have a hold in Athens. Think some of CJT's work ethic and nose to the grindstone has been utilized by Richt recently. Tereshinski will be counting heads over the summer and there won't be any free lunches come football season. UGA needed a good kick in the butt.
yd1, my wife's parents lived in Northport, as you say just across the Black Warrior River separating Northport from Tuscaloosa. My Father-in-Law was a medical doctor and spent many years with the University of Alabama and part of that was with the athletes. So sorry for the good people that live in that area. Hard working, mostly middle class, god fearing folks. Said in another thread that living in Florida, we have warnings when the hurricanes are coming, much sooner we get the warnings than the folks that face the tornados. So sorry for those folks and this might not be the last of the weather.
As a Veteran, there is never a day that goes by that I don't have those guys and gals on my mind one way or another. Too many young folks die or are hurt badly for some wars or conflicts that I don't think we should be in. As a disabled Veteran I am going to the VA Clinic in Viera, Florida today for some assistance. Think this is the day that they whip me back into shape. Think they like to hear me grumble . . .
Did notice that we got another commit yesterday, will be interesting to see how well we back up last years efforts. This particular player was praising Lakatos, good sign, we don't hear much about him.
Thanks so much for the Friday threads, usually upbeat and to the point. Good on you yd1.
