QB Spotlight

Good Morning All,

Just seems so good that the QB spotlight is in Columbia and not in Athens this year.

We will do better with less off the field press issues.

I only care about UGA football and tend to rejoice when any other program suffers, but I hate to see any life squandered. Here is a young man with so much talent and nothing else. All the athletic ability on earth won't fill the hole that immaturity and lack of any personal ethics digs.

Anytime someone "guarantees" that there will be no more trouble, I cringe. As much as I can't stand SS, I had to stand and applaud when the first thing he told the boy to do was cut his hair. What a shame for EVERYONE that this kid is trying his best to live as a loser.

On the other hand, let's all be thankful (knock on wood) that AMs biggest "flaw" is that he likes to play a game of pick-up soccer. For those who mock Tim Tebow for his Christianity (real or for show), I would much rather see a kid be like him than the kid in Columbia.

I hope Garcia figures things out some day, and sooner rather than later.

Garcia comes from the same area that AM comes from. Kid has huge talent, shows what happens sometimes when you are BMOC. As far as SS is concerned, here is hoping that Grantham has a package especially for SS. Said it before, that Saturday between the hedges is not for the faint of heart.

One thing I do like about SS is that he WILL sit a player's butt on the bench. I have heard interviews with SS where he said that whether it be injury or suspension, he will move on to the next guy and win with him (I actually like that kind of confidence).


(oh....Garcia will start game one)

I hope Garcia does start here in Athens. I want to beat USC and SS when they have no excuses.
