yankeedawg1, in agreement with Rambo not being the same after Auburn collision. I have experienced a concussion more than once, not a friendly return to reality sometimes.
Copied this comment from Jakar Hamilton about his readiness for last year. As close as some of those games were, one player out of position and it spells trouble. At least the young man is honest and is apparently correcting it. All of the talent in the world can reside in Athens, makes not a big difference if you don't understand what your position calls for.
Boise State comes with a quarterback that will pick up on that kind of mistake and make UGA pay for it. Watch that film, study the play book.
Copied from DogBytes . . .
Hamilton started the first five games last season, but Williams and then Ogletree took the starting spot at safety opposite Rambo.
"Last year, I came out here and I didn’t really know what I was doing," Hamilton said. "This year, I’m into the film more. I’m studying the playbook even more. Now I know what I’m doing. I know the concept of the defense. I get to play faster. I don’t have to think as much and I get to make plays. …
Last year around this time, I would say I couldn’t even tell you a cover 4 from a blitz. Now I’m on it."
Another situation that is getting even better is the big man in the middle of the defense. Grantham is giving Kwame more praise. I like it. Think maybe some of this might be to keep JJ on his toes. . . . .
Hope the weather is Athens is good today, need to let the "Dawgs Out".
