Good Morning All,

Rambo may miss the rest of spring practice do to a sprained MCL.

This to me may be a blessing as CML & CTG will have to look elsewere with more practice time
for others this spring.

When Rambo returns he will have to work that much harder.

For reasons we have spoke of he is not he same player after AU game saving hit.

Force othes to grow up and fill the role. " Go Dawgs "

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1, in agreement with Rambo not being the same after Auburn collision. I have experienced a concussion more than once, not a friendly return to reality sometimes.

Copied this comment from Jakar Hamilton about his readiness for last year. As close as some of those games were, one player out of position and it spells trouble. At least the young man is honest and is apparently correcting it. All of the talent in the world can reside in Athens, makes not a big difference if you don't understand what your position calls for.

Boise State comes with a quarterback that will pick up on that kind of mistake and make UGA pay for it. Watch that film, study the play book.

Copied from DogBytes . . .
Hamilton started the first five games last season, but Williams and then Ogletree took the starting spot at safety opposite Rambo.

"Last year, I came out here and I didn’t really know what I was doing," Hamilton said. "This year, I’m into the film more. I’m studying the playbook even more. Now I know what I’m doing. I know the concept of the defense. I get to play faster. I don’t have to think as much and I get to make plays. … Last year around this time, I would say I couldn’t even tell you a cover 4 from a blitz. Now I’m on it."

Another situation that is getting even better is the big man in the middle of the defense. Grantham is giving Kwame more praise. I like it. Think maybe some of this might be to keep JJ on his toes. . . . . ;)

Hope the weather is Athens is good today, need to let the "Dawgs Out".

Michael Bennett, name keeps popping up from players and the media folks, not to mention coaches. Redshirt Freshman . . . .

Picked this up from DogBytes.
Richt said . . .
On Bennett: “I thought he was good enough to play last year, but I just didn’t know how much he would play with the lineup we had. We’re hoping for good things from him.”

Talent is there, coach'em up.

Buc, I have said here before I like MB with him it will open up OC from double coverage.

AM will have no shortage of hands to throw to this season. Weather is mid 70's today with gusty winds. Much better than last Sunday for sure. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Also noticed that Orson had a good day. yd1 like the fact that two good teams, by that I mean an offensive team and a defensive team meet head on. Talent is deep on both sides, don't care what some say, there are some terrific athletes lining up on both sides of the ball.

Here I go again . . . . . talent is there putting the pads on . . . is the talent there coaching those in the pads. There will not be a lot of room to wiggle this season, especially after what happened last season. Really not trying to cast a cloud over expectations for the coming season, trying to be realistic.

I think that this team can compete with anyone on our schedule, maybe in the nation. Turn the calendar one year, this bunch of Dawgs should be smokin' hot. I am not one to talk about next year usually, but I do see some positive things with this recruiting year that I have not seen in "many moons". Picked the quoted phrase up from Tonto . . . . :)

With all of the talent that resides in Athens, have to believe that the (Buck stops where . . . ???)

Trying real hard to believe that we will/can win against anyone on our schedule. This is the SEC and there seems to be a lot of "handshakes" going on in college football. Don't think that is an exclusive with the SEC . . .

Talent can be wasted without the knowledge......knowledge can be gained through mistakes......mistakes are corrected through experience.

Hamilton and others from last year are at the END of that sentence now and as a result, we all will see why they were recruited to be a DAWG.......
