Exactly.
We need an office on campus specifically for beating people about the head and neck if they get a little too full of themselves.
Thats why I always loved Michael Jordan, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison and the like. If you are truely great you don't actually have to tell anyone. They will know.

Unfortunately, it's not the good-hearted college athletes that hs players emulate, it's the big-money pro ballers. These kids see the way Terrell Owens and Randy Moss and even old hands like Clemens and Favre act regarding whether they're going to get their money and their props, and that's what they aspire to be. Everyone aspires to be an MVP or a Heisman candidate, and no one aspires to be a Bowden Trophy winner. That's what makes D.J. Shockley a great Dawg, and Quincy Carter a jerk-off.
We should just clone the heart of David Pollack

Preach on Dapolla!
I love DJ. I was even hoping the Falcons would trade Vick for a few players and a case of Redbull and let DJ get some reps behind Schaub.
And I hope Q wastes his money and ends up bagging groceries at a Piggly Wiggly.

I read the other day that Quincy signed a contract with a arena 2 football team, cant remember what team though. He is moving on up. In his mind he thinks he will make it back to the NFL

It's just totally unexceptable to me for any athlete to waste their talent. He's dilusional if he thinks he will make it back. He had his chance and instead chose the wrong way. He needs not to worry about his football, he needs to worry about his life and what he's putting into his body.
