yankeedawg1, one of my contacts, indirectly is Harvey Fialkov. He is a sportswriter for the Sun-Sentinel in South Florida. His wife and my daughter teach 4th grade at the same school in Plantation, Florida. My daughter is semi-close to Harvey Fialkov real close to his wife.

However, my daughter is like her mother, understands football and I get a lot of "information" about the talent in South Florida. Harvey Fialkov currently covers the Florida Panthers hockey team. Much of his past has been Miami Dolphins and everything that has to do with football in South Florida, including Miami and other schools. He is first rate.

I feel that I am blessed at my age to "know" a couple of folks in Florida that share the same love for football that I do. That is one reason that I can make blank statements about folks like AM, Orson Charles and now DeBell and Wilson. 2012 Morgan. I depend on you guys to keep me close to those in Georgia.

If UGA can get "OUR HOUSE" back in order, the talent will continue to head to Athens. Lots of folks down this way enjoy getting away from the flat lands and enjoying the beauty that is Athens and all of North Georgia.

Carried a sports pass at one time when I was in the publishing business. Like anything else, it comes down to who you know in sports or any other field.

Thanks for sharing Buc, It was pure luck that this yankee ever found his way south, first to Chattanooga for 23 years and then on to Athens. My time in Chatt-town I watched with some interest the Vols. After arriving in Athens and sitting outside at the East-West Bistro on Broad St knocking back a frosty looking at the arch and asking why and the name of God I had been dropped into this place.

OK it was because my job was here and at that time in life it was keeping the family going without dipping into savings. Forward eight years and now there is not a morning that goes by that I don't give thanks to him for the opportunity to come here and learn to understand what makes this place so special.

Take the "If" away from getting "Our House" in order. With Mack-CTG & JT the process is well underway. " Go Dawgs "
