Haha. No kidding YD. I am sure they will play it 600 times like they always do. Never will forget watching the UGA/ut game I believe in 2005. Verne Lunquist probably said the greatest thing ever. Something along the lines of " I have heard rocky top on numerous occasions and to be quite honest, I am not sure what the Vols have done to this point to celebrate anything" I remember watching, and thinking how true it is.

I always wanted them to change the lyrics to:

rocky top you will always be; shittiest team in the SEC. That is as far as I have gotten to this point. Usually I get to that point, and then remember the team in gainesville, so I haven't placed a copyright on it yet.

Hopefully, Pearl has his boys out for a late night BBQ, and they don't sober up until 3. Going to go support the boys, but being a football head, I have always looked at bball as something to pass the time until spring football. Like watching our boys play anything. Just something about the Red and Black that gets my blood flowing.

yankeedawg1 picked this lineup from another site. Wondering if you are hearing or have heard much about the proposed defensive starters. Some positions are pretty easy to plug in, wonder about some of the others. . . .especially in the defensive back department. Know that you have your ear to the ground.

MLB - Samuel, Robinson
CB - Boykin, Commings
FS - Rambo
SS - Ogletree

Buc, I have seen this lineup also, Drew will get PT as well as others.

CTG is pressing to have Marshall & Sanders a least get some secondary work/looks. He wants them here during the summer workouts getting in football shape.

Spring ball will help knock some of the rust off those who are here, real deal starts in Aug. chatter is getting the newbees here for the summer. Looks like AM will lead the "O"'s and Jarvis Jones the "D". AM wants to work out Michael Butler and the entire rec group. I like It !

Funny how that AM name keeps popping up . . . .

Hoping we get a "real" leader on the other side, like you, I suspicion that Jones is the man. That is what seems to be coming out of Athens.

Think we could see something on the D side of the ball that has not been there for some time now. For a lot of these players, there is no place to hide or point fingers after a play.

Lots at stake in Athens this year, not just the head coaching position. We have talent in Athens and ALL must stand up. Boise State looms large on the horizon.

I am in agreement with wlayton on our latest hiring. Have used the miracle of the internet to "snoop" a bit, and based on what I have read, this is a positive hire. CTG starting to show his hand . . . . ??

yankeedawg1, like your post in another thread about WF. These two big bad lines going at each other, should prime our young men for the upcoming wars, and there will be two wars right away in 2011. Believe that our defensive front could be more than a handful for any team we will face. If our O line comes out of the Spring with some confidence . . . who knows.

Takes me back to McGarity, do believe the new AD got the COMPLETE message across. Good stuff Brother, keep it coming.
