wlayton, don't think that I need to move over. Your insight is to be valued, and I do along with many (most) others on this board.
If UGA had hit the gridiron today with a PLAN, we would not be having this conversation.
When you are faced with a short yardage situation inside the opponents 5 yard line and elect to kick a field goal, it tells me something.
If I am a part of the offensive line and coach does that, does that in a bowl game, not the Rose, Sugar, Orange and Cotton as it was once upon a time, a nondescript bowl quite frankly in Memphis, I am through for the day. Meaning . . . this is what my Head Football Coach thinks of me and my partners on this offensive line. Go back and watch after that drive, the offensive line was pissed and said to hell with Richt. He does not belong in my foxhole.
Richt can not lead a major football program (like we were once upon a time). He has had more talent than the good Lord should allow. Should allow for someone that does not have a clue. This is not choir practice, this is BIG BUSINESS. Folks don't drive to Memphis to watch what Richt presented.
Please RESIGN.
If every young man on our recruiting list pulls back and goes to another program, would not blame them. If they leave because Richt either resigns or is replaced, fine. Give me a T Boone Pickens that will right the program.
I am more hurt than pissed, this should not be happening. Happening to a school that has so much tradition and its supporters ask only for leadership. We have no LEADERSHIP.
Duck, glad to see you back my friend.
Go Dawgs . . . . under new and qualified leadership. Richt please RESIGN.
