Still a rookie to the site. Don't post much but I love to read them. You all have some of the best info and keenest insights into GA football. I used to wonder how people could be die-hard fans of Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and others who are in the SEC but never have a shot at doing anything. Unfortunately, for the last few years I have gotten a good dose of it. Every year I start the season with these expectations of greatness. I guess I need to change my mindset so that when we win I will be pleasantly surprised instead of so disappointed when we lose. I love Georgia with all my heart and it makes me sick to see where we are right now. How does GA lose to Kentucky at home? How do we lose to Vanderbilt on homecoming. We used to be feared in the SEC. Now I think teams look forward to us on their schedule. We absolutely suck against ranked opponets the last few years. I am not a statistics guy but when was the last time we beat a top ten team? How can we lose 18 of the last 21 games against FL. Are you kidding me. I think we have lost that game mentally before we even step onto the field and that can only be coaching. I wish CMR would have praised CTG for the choke sign. Would have liked to see him doing it himself and not apologizing for it. Think he is a great man, but I am sick and #^$%$% tired of losing. We need more CTG attitude and less CMR coolness. If it takes firing CMR to get that then lets cut our losses if we can the right man in there. Don't want to go through what we did after Dooley left, but something has to give. You can't keep doing the same thing and expect to get different results. GO DAWGS.

Michigan State is a starter job. They get crap talent.

LSU was Ole Miss at best before Saban came to town. Saban got them to a level of respect they had rarely achieved before. In fact he built them so well a complete fool like Miles could even win a title.

Agree on that about MSU, but at the same time they were playing pretty crappy talent with the exception of a few teams. Still no need to go 6-6

Also agree about LSU. He did build the program, but at the same time greatly underachieved in his last year

MSU records by year.
1991 3-8
1992 5-6
1993 6-6
1994 0-11 (actually 5-6 but forfeited the wins)

MSU was bad when he got there with little talent. They were actually decent at the end of the 80's, but of course Big Ten decent is SEC doormat for the most part.

As far as LSU underachiving they have under achieved for nearly a century. The high points with Saban are the aberration statistically. And his last year I think Saban was packing already.
