Just looking over Saban's record's

Wlayton, I am on the fence myself. Have even posted it. I am not saying that MR is the man for our future. I don't know. I am saying that as long as he coaches the team that I love, then I am going to wish the man the absolute best. I think you have too if you truly want what is best for the team. I see all the time people posting All Dawg. How can you be all the way in, and be hoping a coach gets fired. That is like saying you love coca-cola, but hate high fructose corn syrup. Just doesn't make sense. Just get the feeling from a lot of post that some would rather see the man be unsuccessful and get the axe, than start winning again and remain our coach.

Don't give me the BS that "we all want what is best for the Dawgs" If you really did, you would hope that CMR can turn it around because re-staffing 80% of the time ends up being a night mare. Coaching fires backfire a lot more than they end up turning out successful. Yeah, Bama got Saban. After years of a coaching carousel. Is that what we want? Because that could be what we are in for. For those that think that is the answer, would it be worth it then. Bama served probation, went through 4 coaches, and many wondered if they would ever return to their tradition. UT is in complete turmoil, and they are more than likely facing probation. I hope we all know the risk. Not always going to be a cake walk.

See all this about Crowell being a difference maker. Forget signing any guys that are still open. Why would they take a chance?

Sorry for the ranting.

Wlayton. Love the Mark Whipple idea if Bobo is let go. Coordinators can be changed with little effect. HC coaches like the one we have, make a lot of noise and influence when they are fired.

My point is that I don't know if he will be back or not. If he is, i hope he wins every game. If he is gone, I hope the next guy wins every game.

Saying he is not a good coach is like saying that Marino was not a good QB because he never won the big one and struggles his last couple of years. Or that Jeff Gordon is not a good race car driver because he hasn't won a championship in the last 8 years.

If you don't like his style, and want him gone, that is fine. But if you are going to say the man is not a good coach because of the last couple of years, to me that is not accurate.

You have a false conception that I truly believe I have to convince you that Richt is a good coach. Well, I don't have to. His record should do that.

Read post like Best we can hope for next year is a new OC, or I will disappointedly watch Richt come back next year.

Why not say that I hope the man does well next year. If he does well, that means we do well.

If you are so disappointed, then don't watch. Don't support them if it bothers you that bad. I am pretty sure they will still play the games and more than likely sell Sanford out.

I can just imagine it. Everytime UGA does something wrong next year, "See honey this is exactly why I told you we should have fired him" Then everytime something goes right "That kid is a great player". You know those people who just sit around thriving on negative results. Believe my Uncle calls them S*** Stirrers

GO DAWGS

Posts like this annoy me. Don't watch? Don't support them? Are you seriously telling me how to be a fan? I'm going to Athens to the game this weekend. I will always support them. So really, as much as we disagree, I would appreciate not being told how to be a fan. If you think I thrive on negative results, you have not followed my posts over the years. I am happy and praise the team and coaches when they do well, as I likewise call them out when they don't. Whether you agree with that or not, It's my right as a fan. I don't have to be happy with the state of affairs in Athens, and I will post that if I want. Since we're now in the business of telling members what to do, if you don't like my posts, Don't read them.

sadlerdawg, you surprise me a bit. You know what being baited is. Some play the game for clicks. . . .

I do, Buc, but the thing is, over the years, you kind of learn who to expect it from and who not to, and I never really expected it from AD5. Guess I was mistaken.

Hey Im going to the game this weekend to, It will be fun to see the 1980 NC team also. As yall know I have been upset with CMR also but still think he can get us back. Just need IMO new play caller. I know alot of us are split on this, but I think yall are Huge Dawg fans just as I am. Things will get better, as I have said before no one stays on top. while I am upset with this season I really didnt see us winning the east with all the changes we had. GO DAWGS!!!!!

I said this before and I will say it again.

I still want a coaching change.

Either Richt to make the necessary changes or the necessary change is Richt.

Even if we win out, there is still no excuse for the 4 (now 5) losses already and the discipline troubles on and off the field.

I think many on this board feel the same way.. we all just have different ways to express it.

I will also say this, if his aww..shucks attitude is the course he is going to keep, then he needs 2 fiery coordinators to offset and possibly handle some of the internal discipline. A good "CEO" would realize this.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

I think some on here refuse to see to point some of us are tring to make. Look at the past 5 years, the program has been getting worse each year. So who is to blame, CMR. The players seem to be lost and not well trained and in shape. So who is to blame, CMR. Whos job is it to motivate the players and get then ready to play with out gimicks, CMR. We are a program that is in danger of losing to teams like USC, Vandy, KY and out of conference teams, where we once dominated these schools. I mean, come on he is a nice man, but he head a good head coach, NO!!!
