Beginning to wonder now about the relationship between MR and CTG. averagedawg had mentioned some time back that there might be a problem or, there was a rumor that King Adams was going to tone CTG down. Think I got that right, if not will gladly change this.

Think that it is common knowledge that MR did not really appear to want CBVG to be his DC. Well, that sure worked out didn't it. Those of us that have not been in the arena knew that MR would take control of that defense and work wonders. However, he became CEO and promoted one of his college mates to handle that job.

Now we have a coach that is by far more experienced in defensive football than MR and WM. Maybe the reason for not selecting CTG first to replace WM was a feeling that he was too much like CBVG.

Do personalities really matter when it comes to winning and losing? I watched Coach Mike Ditka and Coach Buddy Ryan do everything but come to blows, it however did not stop the Chicago Bears from winning a championship. In my opinion, the best defensive side of the ball maybe ever in the NFL was that Chicago team. CTG is showing the same fire that Coach Buddy Ryan took to every Sunday game with him.

CTG does not strike me as the apologizing type. He is not a pretty boy, he will get in the dirt with anyone. Anyone on any blog that does not like or understand that probably has not been in the arena, does not belong there.

I am not sure, but I am starting to get feelings that UGA football is beginning to unwind too fast. It has been coming apart a piece at a time, stuff like this comes up . . . could and probably will throw the program into a total downward spiral. Don't like walking on egg shells, appears to me we have started that process.

We will learn a lot about UGA football between now and February. Let those that know how to coach, coach.

One question for those that post here.

Do you approve or disapprove of Coach Grantham's sideline actions against Florida?

My vote, do it again if the mood strikes you CTG. They have castrated MR, don't allow it to happen to you. Would rather see you leave and coach somewhere else than to fold on some silly talk like BarnFart threw out to bring more attention to himself.

BarnFart, you stink. . . .

Just grabbing the throat as a "choke" symbol is nothing imo. I can only imagine what really goes on during a game both on and off the field.............I thought that was called gamesmenship or a little trash talk.

Now if CTG did a throat slashing move, then I have a problem with that "gang type" of gesture.

The media thrives on these kinds of things and always misses the big picture. Geez, we use to holler it out that you are going to choke and blow the game etc......

wlayton, you played football. Guessing that you played baseball also, that is usually the case, especially some years back when we did not have all of these fancy malls and video parlors etc . . . we had to burn our energy up by staying active.

Remember the dugout hoots and hollers? Screaming bicycle (and other things) when someone was trying to catch a pop foul. Managers on the field screaming at the umpire. Fights and spikes we used to call it.

This clown comes up and starts crap, sorry to say, a UGA Journalism Major. BarnFart is more into the sensationalism aspect, makes more money that way. Needs those clicks to make the green roll into his pocket. BarnFart appears now to be the second coming of Terrence Moore. Maybe he will meet the same fate, seems to run through the veins of the AJC writers. Gone are the days of Bisher and Outlar.

BarnFart trying to get CTG fired basically. Keep your nose up King Adams behind TB, you are the suck-up type. Maybe you need to go out behind the woodshed and discuss this with CTG. TB, I am sure he would accomodate you.

Seems that there is some talk also of our new AD bringing in a OC. If our AD has to do that, then this program is in trouble. I can just see Saban or Meyer having the AD pick and choose for them. The track we are on upsets me a bit.

Dugout hoots and hollering, if you played catcher, you trashed talk while the batter was swinging. McGarity has already moved on and isn't wasting any more of his time on that subject. TB should do the same.
