Kudos to all that has been said. But getting more to the UF game. I feel good on the one hand that we will win the game b/c we are trending up while UF is trending down-usually that trend is worth taking.
However, there is that part of me thinking: UF ALWAYS plays their best against us; they will have NO turnovers and two penalties while we will have 4 turnovers, 11 penalties, and 3 dropped passes that cost us fist downs. UF always gets the week off to scheme us---and NO WAY do I like Bobo's chances when someone has two weeks to scheme for him.
i need someone to convince me we can win this thing saturday.......
Going to give it my best shot BulldogShannon.
If we try and run outside the DE's, won't work. UF has too much speed.
This game needs to be run between the tackles. This is a Pittsburgh Steelers type of game.
Coach Searels has got a combination of "Big Uglies" that can move folks. We don't have the speed to go outside 7 and 8 to pick up first downs. 7 and 8 referring to beyond the offensive tackles. Everyone that played football had different calls and hole categories.
If we can run block, we can beat their butts. Caleb King coming back this week, hope he does well . . . . . both on and OFF the field. Wake up young warrior, this is UF and JAX.
Orson Charles was one of the most recruited players in the State of Florida when he graduated. Went so far as to drop the "Crystal Trophy" in Gainesville, too bad, shattered. I do say that with tongue in cheek, he did not mean to.
This is a game that blocking tight ends can mean so much to UGA.
Could go on for hours, here is my last take.
AM needs to play football, just like he did in high school. Take what they give us, and look for the "special" piece of gridiron they are willing to give up. AM is smart, guarantee that he will be looking, and he also was a valued recruit that UF wanted that got away.
This is a game that should be played like football many years ago . . . . field position. Our punter seems to have his leg back, our field goal kicker needs to wake up . . . . again. Three points or one punt might decide this game.
Take notice, did not mentiond AJ or others . . . . UF is aware of the "stars".
BulldogShannon, this game is up to the Red and Black . . . I don't mention those colors lightly. Play football young men, like you know how . . . . two arms, two legs, we all put our pants on the same way.
Go Dawgs. . . .
