After AM's gutsy show Saturday, it will definitely change the way other teams game plan for UGA.

Say it again, it is in AM's makeup to move around. He takes what the defense gives him, has always done that. Could get hurt, anyone on the football field stands a chance of bad things happening.

Picked this up from a Tennessee site. . . .

The performance wasn't totally new for the freshman, who entered the week ranking third in the SEC in passing yards and fourth in total offense. But this time the game ended with a victory.

It started on Georgia's first drive, when Murray ran 35 yards for a touchdown. His other rushing touchdown, a 5-yarder in the third quarter, actually seemed longer, as Murray barely avoided a sack then ran across the field and to the left end of the end zone.

Murray said neither play was a designed run.

"The coaches have given me a little more freedom to take off when nobody's open downfield," Murray said. "They just say be smart, and make sure I protect the ball, and protect my body."

Richt called it Murray's best game of his young career.

"We knew he was a good athlete," Richt said, before adding: "I didn't think he'd be able to make as many plays with his wheels. I didn't think he would run for that many yards across the line of scrimmage."

Get to know your athletes skill sets, some work better when they are not trying to play their position the way former athletes did. AM is more than smart, he is athletic.

Buc.........AM is a "football player"..........just like Hines Ward........smart, does what it takes to get it done.

Good, no, Great comparison wlayton. . . . Think I had mentioned to you before, Hines Ward and I played QB at the same high school. Forty or so years apart. AM has guts, just like the sometime QB before him . . . .

Thank you Brother Man . . . .
The folks that I played with went on to play some serious football. UGA, Clemson, Troy State, Mississippi State and others that I can't recall. My halfback, Donald Cook still holds the record in Clayton County for touchdowns scored by a back, think it was 48. We were actually very good . . . however things have changed considerably since the '50's . . . .

Waxing nostalgia are we???....But seriously, I was pleasantly surprized with the totality of our win against the Viles...I almost felt a moment of sorrow for them, till I remembered Phat Phil's "Half-a-Hundred" speech and quickly regained proper decorum!...There were many "firsts" against the urenge horde, but none more important or timely as AM stepping forward as seizing the reins of field commander and team leader. This young man reminds me of another "heady" general, who likewise took over as a redshirt frosh and later shattered many a UGA and NCAA record. I look forward to many more years of watching Aaron mature and lead the Red and Black back!

Speaking of Green's, AJ's second game back solidified many a worry for those teams which remain ahead. While I would love nothing more than to see him return next year, I suspect he will build his highlight reel for the remainder of the season, treat us to many an astounding feat, then depart for what will be some serious, life changing dividends!...

Our O line seemed to FINALLY gel and open significant holes for our dynamic duo of "The Arrested" and "The Fumbler"...All kidding aside, I distinctly recall a time, in my youth, when I felt the urge to thumb my nose at the law....Hell, so what if I didn't pay those parking tickets here, or that speeding ticket there...BUT...Don't freakin' forget that they probably did/will issue a warrant for you...Sooooooooo, don't go rescue anyone where you'll be required to provide I.D.????...Especially within the same flippin year that you IGNORED to pay or appear!!!...And as for Jasper Sanks Jr.....some one should be made to carry a 5lb. bag of flour everywhere for the next 2 weeks...as well as some serious bench warming time...Let's burn Malcome's red-shirt...Thoughts????

Anyhoo,...the season is still busted...would love nuttin more than to run the table, but will hold that type of talk for after the WLOCP...Should we manage to get to the other side with 2 more wins, we may just manage to salvage a sliver of cockiness!...FTR...I'm still waiting for a total defensive effort!...The Hilltoppers busted our secondary twice for scores...Had we not played a team that is circling the drain further down than us,...I suspect a chorus of Willie revisionism might begin...

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
