I have followed UGA for over 58 years and love them win or lose, but I don't know if I have seen the lack of effort, the problems with decipline, and the lack to put teams away as I have over the past 5 years. You at least can blame Golf and Donnan with the lack of talent that CMR has had in his time here. We just do not have a group of kids that want to win or think about the overall team since David Green left.

This one to me shows, how should I put it...... a less than highly motivated will to win--
Our league is one that is a very, very tough league, and we’re not always going to win. We find ourselves 0-2 for the first time in 10 years, and it’s not a comfortable spot. It’s not a spot we want to be in. But it’s not like we got shellacked and run off the field. We actually, I thought, represented very well, even though we lost.
What's scary, is the whole article sounds like the excuses he was making when people would question WM's ability to coach. Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like MB will be CMR's death knell at UGA.
That's is a LOSER's quote. BAMA and UF certainly don't think that way. Geez, we have become Kentucky.
It seems he has gotten content with a 9 or 10 win season. If I remember correctly, was it not reported that he would only be coaching until his contract expired and that he wanted to persue the misson field? Everyone knows what excuses are like.

Richt's a good person. He would be a great preacher.
God forgive me, no putdown intended...........But, he speaks more to the FCA than booster groups.
So right averagedawg. More and more I see him as the second coming of Coach Bobby Bowden. BB had a tremendous effect on CMR.

“The ‘good enough is enough’ attitude is not what we’re looking for, we have got to use every opportunity to improve individually so we can improve collectively."
“The formula for success is every guy can make a difference for the entire team in whatever his role is. And to do it right, to get it right, is a critical factor in being successful."
"They can "stand up and say I did everything I could do to make it right. I did right, I worked hard, I was responsible to my teammates."
Or, they can "have a lot of regret about how (they) played because (they) didn't prepare right, didn't do it right, and didn't have the discipline to stick with it for 60 minutes."
"Each play has a history and a life of its own. How is that play going to be remembered? If you're focusing on that play and what you have to do that single play, usually you'll do pretty good on it."
These are all quotes from Nick Saban on tidefootball.com. A bit more inspiring and motivating to a team that CMR's babble. I didn't look up any of Meyer's, but I'm guessing they're more similar to these than CMR's.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
