I just read a article from the Macon newspaper on line that CMR stated he has no intention of pulling CMB from play calling. He states that CMB is the play caller that it will stay that way. This sould all to fimular like it did in his defense of Matrinez. CMR is so loyal to his coaches and will not make changes until he is forced to. I mean help the man out, get creative and come up with some new plays. Heck take over play calling behind the lines and no one needs to know that CMB is not really calling the plays. To me he has had 2 full years and I have seen nothing but the same old conserative offense.

Well, if that's the case, duck, we need to get used to 2 things--the SEC cellar, and a new Head Coach.

I agree, I just don't get it. CMR had top 10 offense year after year when he was oc at Fla State. You would think he could see that we don't have enough plays or that CMB is not calling the right plays. It is a shame when sports casters question the play calling like when it was 3 and 4 and we had no receivers for the short pass to just pick up the first down and keep the clock moving. We always go for the bomb rather than picking up the first and keep the ball.

I hear Coach Tommy Tuberville is using Texas Tech as a stepping stone to return to a high profile gig.

Head coach TT and go ahead and get former Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach to be our offensive coordinator.

Sounds like a winning combination to me.

Read the AJC dog report at the bottom of the home page of this site. It talks about the CMR call in show last night. Also read some of the comments by readers, most of them feel the same way we do and CMR continues to make excusses. The one that really ticks me off is that in this league you can't win them all. Ya'll read it and lets see what this board has to say.
