Yes, I like learning and there is a lot about UGA football history that I have learned from the board. I love this board, but declaring credibility of a post based on someone's age, just doesn't make sense to me. Guys that have been around UGA longer might have loved the DAWGS longer, but it doesn't mean that there love for the DAWGS is any stronger.

Just voicing my opinion. Anyway fella's, we need this one bad. I have a good feeling about Sat and the rest of the year.

AllDawgs5, speaking for myself, really enjoy your posts. Reading them does not leave any doubt to your understanding of football. It is quite apparent.

One of the reasons that I choose this site to post frequently is that there are folks like you (puppies) and older gentlemen like me, that really want to discuss football. UGA football.

Hope that I haven't given the impression that only the old farts know everything, don't think that way. Get a bit out done sometimes when I read through the mullet wrappers and know that the "journalists" are trying to sell themselves, not represent the subject that they are bringing to the table.

I won't start to name the folks that I genuinely respect on this site, too many. Like you, I am glad that I found this site and have a place to lay it out, whether anyone likes it or not.

Went back through all of your posts, no doubt in my mind that you believe as strongly as this old fart and anyone else on this board. Being retired, I can spend time reading and researching. Not near as good as dapolla, but I am in the top 100.

Hope the "Gladiators" put their cleats in the dirt and make us proud this weekend. Did not say put their cleats in the dirt and win. If our beloved football team leaves everything they have between the hedges and still don't come out on top . . . . not a problem with me.

Thanks Buc. I read all the post by most of the guys. Especially, and I don't like using this term and I am not trying to be disrespectful at all, by the older guys. There were a lot of great UGA moments that I didn't get to experience. I enjoy the opportunity to learn about the DAWGS, and I have learned and will continue to learn a lot from you guys. I can only imagine what it would have been like to see the NC game, or to see HW run over Bates live. I can only watch the copies and they even get me going.

Speaking of ERK, I believe you were dead on Buc when you compared the new guy to him. You called it when it first happened and you were correct. He is going to be a dang good one. I have a ton of confidence in what CTG is doing.

Let's hit that QB hard and often, and see where the chips fall.

AllDawgs5, if this group on defense show us a bit more Saturday, then improve (allowing for injuries) and say by . . . . Florida, I will be a happy camper for the most part.

CTG knows what he wants on "his" defense and where he wants them. You have coached, so you know from looking and listening to CMR, he is hands off, this defense belongs to CTG.

CMR grew up in the coaching profession under BB at FSU, and Coach Bowden had a long successful run for a long time. His method was leave the defense to the defensive coaches and the same applied to the offensive side. Those really good years at FSU, Coach Bowden was the face of the program, not the do it my way of coaching.

Truthfully, Coach Richt tried what he had learned from Coach Bowden, it however backfired. His choice for DC did not work out as we all know. He hated to give WM his walking papers, no doubt in my mind.

Speaking for myself, think he is faced again with the same situation on the offensive side. He would hate to remove CMB. That was Coach Bowden's biggest problem, releasing folks. I think that Coach Richt tried too early to put certain folks in positions that were above their collective heads.

He is however wearing the title of "Head Coach". I am in his corner, but in my mind there is some "clutter" that has to be cleaned up quickly. If not, some of the "journalists" will rip him a new one, in short order.

Again, hope you post often and give opinions . . . . even though you are a "puppy".
