IMO Defense wins championships, And those teams have players like Ray lewis, players who others fear. The D we have is a joke. they couldnt even scare a freshman.

AM is good, really good. Found himself in a very hostile place in a real SEC fight being outmatched, but he kept playing and kept our Dawgs in the game until the end. CMR needs to call 100% of the plays and let the freshman play ball. He will find a way to win. AJ or not. (Thanks AJ & CMB)

Juston Houston is an outstanding linebacker in the 3/4. I do not see anyone stopping him from getting 2 sacks a game. Woudl like to see TJ Stripling on the other side.

Defense made decent adjustments. They held SC to 3 points in the second half. When the defense was getting tired from being on the field so much (thanks CMB) they started to drive again.

Coach Lakatos is the real deal on X's and O's. He kept Coach SS and Garcia guessing all day as they did not find much open downfield. Even the long balls that SC hit the DB was right there. Just overmatched physically. Now you know why Lakatos is looking for the 6" plus DB's.

Chris Durham and Loagn Gray. Solid #2 receivers. Wish we would have called a couple more out routes. (Thanks CMB)

Overall, I think I recall reading everyone saying if we came out of the SC and ARK games 2 and 1 we would be happy. Well, that is still possible. We just need to let CTG watch the tape. If he is half the coach I think he is, Rambo will be one sad pup by the end of the week. We may get to see a few true freshman start next week.

Folks, it is football season in the good ol'e US of A, This is the best time of the year. We have a long way to go and AM needs our support. Let's hope the negative aspects are all lessons learned and we see a different attitude next week. Besides Tech lost. It was not all bad.

Also, don't worry about AM, if the folks that call themselves coaches turn him loose, UGA football benefits. He will not face a better defense the rest of this year than SC. Might see a faster defense in JAX, but not as hard nosed.

Let AM play, he sees the field and knows what to do. He has been in Athens for a while, knows the system probably better than CMB.

OSD, it is hard for me to understand how we can have so much talent and keep falling further and further out of the top 25. How does any D1 team recruit as well as we have and nothing is gained. Guess we are great recruiters. Does it end there or, do we have the coaching staff that can motivate these young men to play football, say . . . . . like Alabama. Does not appear that the UGA staff is complete at this point.

For the last couple of years thought I was back in high school. "Wait until next year". Too damn old, don't want to wait until next year.

OK, here it is . . . . COACH MARK RICHT IS TOO DAMN SOFT. Otherwise explain to me why we have the same problems, year after year. That includes off field problems. Call it what you want, he is the Captain of this Ship. SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT. That should light some fires, but give explanations with why you disagree. You're right, it's not, IF we correct our glaring problems, such as missed tackles, moronic play calling, and the desire to quit when the chips are down....but since those problems have plagued us for years, I'm not sure the men in charge have a grasp on how to correct them.
