Embarrassing !! I know I will catch heck for this

I have been a Dawg fan for 35 years and have been through Dooley's down years, the Ray Goff debacle, the mediocre Donnan years and the highs and lows of the Richt era.

In that time I don't know that I have been as embarrassed to be a Georgia fan as I am right now. The offseason troubles continue to get worse and now include some of our biggest stars. The lack of fundamentals on the football field continued today. We made all this noise about a new DC and today proved the problems are more than just DC. Questionable offensive play calling along with the foolish penalties in the second half and poor tackling show lack of discipline and coaching. Ealey looked average and Rambo looked like a quitter.

I know it is only the second game of the season but as you look ahead almost every SEC team we face has at least 1 horse to ride on offense and can give the D fits.

We need improvement fast or we can be facing a losing season. I see us as favorites only against Vanderbilt (whom almost always plays us tough) and Idaho State.

I didn't want to believe that Richt was on the hot seat this year but if todays EFFORT was any indication of what we will see then it may be a fair statement.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

I totally agree with you. I like Richt but he's coaching is going to have to change and change fast.

He's got to get back to calling the plays on offense. CMB sucks period.

The interior of the D looked OKAY the DB's SUCKED. Rambo should have been takin out of the game.

Why didnt we run CT??

OK old timer. . . .I have read a lot of posts, but this was the most exact and to the point that I have read.

Rambo, talks a good game. Lots of folks do.

Agree it is only the second game of the season, never thought I would see this after all of the talk about last years quitters.

These players, regardless of freshmen or seniors, were taught at a young age to tackle. Did not see a lot of eyes on the "belt buckle" today. Saw a lot of fear. Shoving does not bring a great or average back down.

We play like this, Tennessee will kick our butts again.

As far as AM is concerned, played a fine game. I have always been in his corner, watched him in high school at Plant. Playing for Bobo (and Richt, I suppose) he is going to waste away on the vine. Put this young man with Bama or others and watch the results.

I am another that not only did not want to believe that CMR was on the hot seat, screamed at those that did. Today he had the earphones on most of the game, and especially when we had a third down and two yards for a first. SC had 9 at least, maybe ten men on the line or in the box. The call was for a running play up the gut. I'm sorry, Coach Richt did say that he would be more involved with the offense this year. OK, and what?

The players that are on the UGA Football Team are all approved by Coach Richt, no scholarships advance without his approval. OK, what?

Don't let a QB like AM waste his time with coaching that is not up to SEC standards. Sometimes head coaches hang on too long for their own good. Not saying, just saying.

UGA quit after the Ealey fumble.

Good post bulldawg36869.

Sorry stanger, from my point of view, the D line got their bottoms kicked all day. Thought we had a chance against SC's offensive line . . . . silly me. 3/4, often times really a 4 man line played today, DB's should not be making a high percentage of tackles. Say it again, D line got their butts handed to them.

We DO......AJ Green....oh, he's on the bench. Rambo needs to change his name back and go sit on the bench with AJ.
