The thing that chaps my A88 is they KNOW the rules. It's pounded in their head every freaking day. They attend training classes strictly on these rules. It all boils down to discipline. Set out severe consequences and serve them without hesitation when a rule is broken.
I've said before, start making the whole team run Sanford Stadium when a player breaks a rule. The second offense gets you kicked off the team. NO ACCEPTIONS.
Sooner or later, they'll learn. But who knows, maybe not.
Yep!!

We should still win this game.
I have no sympathy for AJ Green.

The only positive I can take from it is Murray's never played a game with Green.
We should still win this game.
I have no sympathy for AJ Green.
But averagedawg.....AJ's "hurt and sad".

I'm sure your father and mine were the same.
I was never asked about my "feelings".
Break the rules. Suffer the consequences.

The four-game ban is at the top end of the range the NCAA typically imposes for this type of violation.
The NCAA said it reviews each case “on its own merits based on the specific facts. Staff decisions are made based on a number of factors including . . . the student-athlete’s responsibility for the violation, as well as any mitigating factors presented by the university.”
In another recent case, the NCAA last week suspended Alabama defensive end Marcell Dareus for two games for accepting almost $1,800 in benefits from an agent. In that case, the NCAA said Dareus received a two-game ban, rather than four games, “based on mitigating circumstances.”
Yeah right - they just don't like us - will be surprised if the appeal gets it reduced any
