if we beat everyone except kentucky and vandy, we should still be ranked. id have to disagree with ya there kentdaddy. couldnt tell if u were joking or not, but from how i read it, it sounded like u were serious.

I was somewhat serious....I just cannot imagine actually losing to UK and Vandy in the same decade much less the same year. It is just so foreign to me.

well, think about it. we win both of those games if coutu isnt hurt. bailey missed what? 2 FG's and an x-point in the kentucky game, 4 point loss. and bailey also missed a FG against Vandy, a 2 point lose. was it 1 or 2 missed FG's against vandy? for some reason i wanna say 3.

Dawgs511, sure we win those games with Coutu in the lineup, but at the price of our pride. I was at the Vandy game with my wife, and just before Vandy made what would turn out to be their winning drive, I turned to her in disgust and said "I want to beat Vandy, I don't want to escape Vandy."

Beating Colorado by one, Ole Miss by 5 and the Impostor Dawgs by 3 is as unacceptable as losing to Vandy and Kentucky.

However, let's remember that we did beat #5 Auburn, #16 Ga. Tech and #14 Va Tech. In a row. The last two were comeback victories, and the first was a hinder-whoopin'. There's something to be said for that. I don't think we deserve top-twenty, but we deserve to be ranked. Frankly I think we should be #25 in all polls.
