Coaches Poll? AP got it Right!!

I thought LSU should have been #2 also, but there's probably some new hidden rule about not having SEC teams 1 and 2. They probably figure keeping OSU #2 somehow validates the Big 11's existence.

As I stated before in a different post. It's not who you loose to but it's who you beat. Ohio State only lost 1 game and they beat No. 2 twice and a few other ranked teams. Still pretty impresive.

UGA is the highest ranked 9 win team in the AP as they should be. They should be ranked ahead of some of the 10 win teams as well. If you look at the final polls, this year has more 10+ win teams than any year that I can remember.

Yeah, I noticed that too GatorinGa. We were at least the top 9-4 team in the AP, but not being in the top 25 in the BCS OR the coaches poll is ridiculous.

I have to disagree here. OSU did beat two teams ranked #2 but we now know thet were both paper tigers. Texas was #2 largely because of what they achieved the previous season. They had a true freshman QB and we ALL know how that can go. Michigan was #2 simply because they beat up on the little sisters of the Big 10+1 and the MAC. They play powder puff defense and would be better off in the WAC.

OSU beat some OK teams. They played a good team from a superior conference and got waxed like bikini hair. They would be an 8-4 team if they had to play our schedule (I apologize for my tone...I think my harsh words may have caused Teddy Ginn to pull his hamstring).

We lost to kentucky and vanderbilt in football. We do not really deserve a ranking after that in my opinion. Even if we won every game and lost to vandy and kentucky we should not be ranked. It is VANDY AND KENTUCKY! We simply should never lose to them. We have too many athletes.

I knew the OSU/UF game would be just like the Alabama/Miami game from '92. Like wlayton said way back...the betting mob is usually wrong and this time was no different.
