Ogletree . . . What!!! was created by Buc
Alec Ogletree, a freshman safety on the Georgia football team, is expected to turn himself in later Friday morning after an arrest warrant was issued for him on a charge of "theft by taking."

I have just about made up my mind that this kind of behavior will never change. What is with this crap?

Read that headline too Buc & I totally agree w/you...when will these young fellas WISE-UP???

AO was supposed to play & have an impact as a true freshman this year in our Secondary but I imagine CTG isn't gonna put up with this crap (theft-really, there is no excuse for theives, IMHO). Allegedly, on June 15th he stole a $35 helmet of some kind (hopefully not a football helmet since he already has access to the most beautiful helmet in all the world?) Now young Alec will be in the coaches' doghouse for the rest of the season IF he even gets to stay, much less play on the team.

C'mon Alec, you are from my hometown of Newnan, GA I'm very disappointed. That said, regardless of how highly touted they are or where they are from...WE GOTTA EITHER MAKE EM' ACT RIGHT FROM DAY 1 OR GET EM' OUTTA ATHENS!

I'M SICK & TIRED OF IT TOO!!!

Within the last day or two, the helmet was located and found in the possession of a person who has been identified as Alec Ogletree," said Jimmy Williamson, the chief of UGA Police.

"We have had conversations with football officials and they are making arrangements to have him turn himself in around mid-morning,” Williamson said.

The above paragraphs do not make this incident look favorable. Coach Richt will probably make a statement this afternoon. :(

Goose totally agree with you. Now is the time for Coach Grantham to put an end to this BS. I understand that it is CMR's place to confront the press. CTG can handle this in a way that will mean much more behind the scenes. Damn, just damn. This BMOC crap should not be allowed on UGA's campus. :(

Something does not click here,

If this was a theft and it was better than two months ago.

I would like to know how did Alec come to have it ? Seems to me if he did take it and had it on him when talking to the police this would signal a class "A" nut case who CTG would not playing on his team. If that be the case CTG will drop the hammer and AO will wish he had it to wear.

I am not saying that this turns out like the Taxi with the drunk football players etc etc.

Steping back and waiting to hear the rest of the story. Like I said after WE,this team will refocus, regroup and be fine to play with the players we have.

Go Dawgs!
