McGarity's first day on the job and I sure like what he said about the discipline problems - like I said - there's a NEW SHERIFF in town - EVERY sport will have to shape up or else

I am agree with everyone's frustration, but I think this might be going off the deep end a little bit. I think if it got to that point, we would end up being lucky to field a team. I mean you are honestly going to tell a 22 year old man that he has to be in bed by 11 after the football season is over. That is never going to happen, and to be honest it shouldn't. A curfew during the season should be mandatory, but once the season is over let them be college students. That is the reason we recruit them "to enjoy the college experience" Now, how they choose to enjoy that experience is solely up to them. If anything, I think Richt is doing a good job. He has kicked 4 out of the 8 who have been in trouble off the team. To me that is all he can do. The guys are adults, not children. CMR is a football coach, not a babysitter. All he can do is try to lead the guys down the right road which he does. Each individual has to make that decision for themselves, and live with the consequences.
By NO means do I think it acceptable, but unfortunately it is just part of it. It happens everywhere. It is very disappointing to say the least, but all CMR can do is continue preaching right from wrong, establish team rules, stick by those rules, and dismiss players that cannot abide by those rules.
I do like the running idea though. Make Ealey watch and just feel horrible, humble and embarassed. That would probably open a couple eyes.
