Shut Out UL-Lafayette

The seeds have been sown. All I need is experienced Dawg farmers to help me reap.

Boys, we need to shut out ULL in the worst kind of way to get our defense pumped up for SCarolina and (especially) Arkansas.

While I would love to shut them out, i don't think it's critical we do. I would rather see us rotate three deep all afternoon and win 38-7 then to win 42-0 and rotate 2 deep.

Our DL will get really tired in a 3-4 and we NEED to play everyone-frosh included:)

Yo Shannon - agree - sounds like CTG plans to rotate a lot - feel like the offence will also - CTG is going to set the tone for all the others to follow - we need to start smacking these teams we can and let everyone play - then we won't ever have this no experience thing again- I think everyone will play that can and we'll win by 50-60 points - they may score - If they do I'd hate to be the defensive guy who allows the score - if he's a true freshman CTG might go a little soft - but I'll bet he won't forget it

Forget the score. The first 3 games are going to be BRUTALLY HOT, focus on rotating the guys not only to keep them fresh for that game but fresh through that first 3 game stretch. The noon kickoffs are going to be won with depth (of course, mainly talking about USC and Ark).
