I will never forget when Coach Stacy Searels came on board. YOU were the one on this board that said, this is the man. Maybe it was inside information or just watching the young men he had coached, makes no difference, you were totally, without a doubt, SPOT ON. In my opinion, he has done more from a coaching stand point that any coach on the UGA team. That incluces all coaches from top to bottom.

If UGA keeps this group of coaches for two/three years, it will be fun to watch and tough as hell to play against. Our running backs stand to have close to 1,000 yards each, that would be awesome. Think that Coach Searels needs to get the respect that he deserves. Hell of a coach.

Yep, Searels IS a great coach. He has a bunch to work with so no excuses in the running game THIS year. Believe our backs are just above average. Think Ealey has big potential.

Read where the ChicFilA is thinking about haveing 2 opening games in 2012 - one is UT vrs NCState - the other is maybe Miami vrs ALA or UGA

Saw that too. I want to throw something out here that may get me in trouble with alot of old timers.

So that we can prevent other teams from gaining PR in Atlanta, what about that 2nd ChicFilA bowl on that Thursday night always be the Tech-UGA game?

1) It would start giving us the 10 days to prepare for South Carolina (they always have 10 days for us)

2.) It would give us more exposure in the Atlanta market as well as keeping other SEC teams from getting into the Atlanta scene.

3) We could have some flexibilty at the end of the season when we play in the SEC championship game by not having to get up for Tech and then going to that championship game

I'm in favor if it's a year in which we play gt in atlanta anyway - we'd out number them in the dome - I understand that UGA does not want to play on thursday night - perception is your not a top notch program if your playing on thursday - but I would consider this opportunity to play in a kickoff game not the usual thursday type game
