wlayton know that our new recruit at QB mentioned Peake soon after taking office . . . :) Being Peake was mentioned that quickly, I'm going with you and CL. Trust you for sure. Know that this young man has been mentioned before, will post the link again. I am with kentdaddy, OSD, RD and others, it is getting exciting. One more thing, will not mention his name here, there is a certain running back in Columbus, Georgia . . . Muscogee County that could make UGA an absolute stick of dynamite if he signs. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'll say his name........Isaiah Crowell from Columbus is the major target. However, he likes Alabama a lot, too. It’ll be a big fight for him. UGA is also after Quan Bray from Hogansville. Bray is more of a scatback type. 5’11”, 178. UGA also has offers out to several other out of state, premier national guys, but I don’t know any that have a high interest in UGA or if UGA is heavily pursuing them. I think the focus is on the two in-state guys.

Crowell would be huge though. He is VERY good. Fast and shifty. Crowell is supposed to be the real deal. Everybody wants him.

Here's a list of other RB's that have a \"medium\" interest in UGA:

RB Aaron Green
San Antonio, TexasJames Madison 5'11\" 185 4.4

RB Demetrius Hart
Orlando, FloridaDr. Phillips 5'8\" 190 4.4

RB Chevelle Buie
Cocoa, FloridaCocoa 5'7\" 153

RB Savon Huggins
Jersey City, New JerseySt. Peter's Prep 6'0\" 190

RB Mike Bellamy
Punta Gorda, FloridaCharlotte 5'10\" 175 4.4

RB Malcolm Brown
Cibolo, TexasSteele 6'0\" 210

RB Quan Bray

Yo wlayton

I agree 100%

We NEED Crowell - a bruser running back - will be a fight to get him - think he has about 30+ offers

I think this year turns it around.
We win. The cream of the crop keeps coming.
We have to keep the Georgia kids in state.

averagedawg, will say it again, the defense is going to be something that we have not seen before. I hear all of the talk about learning the new system. Fine, learn the new system, it is still football. When these young men have a handle on what Coach Grantham wants(demands) we are going to see what great coaching is all about.

I will never forget when Coach Stacy Searels came on board. YOU were the one on this board that said, this is the man. Maybe it was inside information or just watching the young men he had coached, makes no difference, you were totally, without a doubt, SPOT ON. In my opinion, he has done more from a coaching stand point that any coach on the UGA team. That incluces all coaches from top to bottom.

If UGA keeps this group of coaches for two/three years, it will be fun to watch and tough as hell to play against. Our running backs stand to have close to 1,000 yards each, that would be awesome. Think that Coach Searels needs to get the respect that he deserves. Hell of a coach.
