I know the feeling AverageDawg, We hope things will get better for everyone up there soon. When we had our flood last yr in GA. The govt didnt help our relatives even though we have all paid taxes all our lives, Had to take out loans, cause in GA. around here it never floods, was ah shock!! But our Govt always helps the other countries that have not will never pay taxes here!! makes no sense I hear help and Charity should start at home, but these days that makes to much sense, in an upside world!! Any Way GO DAWGSSS!!!! we pray for all!!

Totally agree with you about Nashville and the Gulf oil spill......DC should address Nashville and BP is going to take care of the Gulf.

But believe me, we ALL had better worry about Greece, Portugal, Spain etc etc and a financial meltdown. This is REAL and we have been blessed to have never had to live through a depression. The Greece situation will probably be resolved but for us to think it isn't important?......it is a very serious situation. A domino effect can happen over time throughout the world.

Can't bury our heads in the sand and HOPE it goes away. I don't know about ya'll but I LIKE my standard of living.

Definitely agree on the problems with not only Greece, that is most of the talk on the tube. It does reach much further than that as you have posted wlayton. EU has its hands full, and it has a great bearing on us and the rest of the civilized world.

Other part that I would say wait and see . . . . BP. They have some history of not living up to what most see on the daily broadcasts as taking the bull by the horns. If this oil spill/gusher totally ruins the fishing industry in Louisiana (very possible), Mississippi, Alabama and Florida, there is not enough money in the coffers at BP to right that ship. If they are unable to cap this well and drill skillfully to difuse what is going on now . . . . bad news for years to come.

Guess I am one of those that thinks Natural Gas is the best move in the near future for America. T. Boone got us last year in \"his\" stadium, with him on the natural gas. Huge decisions to be made by our country sooner not later.

Just my two cents worth.
