This sends a HUGE statement! Looks like CMR and staff are serious about folks getting in trouble. I LIKE IT!! Just goes to show that just b/c your in contention for the starting QB spot that your NOT invensible. I just wonder if there is more to this story than we know? There is not much info around about Mett. It is very strange Felton said no new incident so this results from the Lowndes Co, stuff. Cops were involved there = he was arrested - one would think the info would have been available since the arrest. Any ideas?

ecdawg after reading the latest, brings to my mind that maybe this starting QB question had been settled within the team, not the public. Some cannot accept having to work for rewards. Just a thought, who knows.

I was reading on another site and there was a guy on there saying that he has \"a guy\" also who said that this may have a Ben Roethlisberger spin on it. Dont really want to believe it but there has to be something MAJOR going on. Not trying to spread rumors, just curious if anyone with an \"inside\" source knows anything.

Well, it definitely narrows down the QB controversy nicely. You have to think, though, that it's a big deal to be dismissed from the team, so in keeping with the new attitude of unloading the baggage, this may be a good thing in the long run. How many times do we see kids given the priviledge of playing for the Dawgs, only to screw up. Strong message indeed.
