Where is all of the G Day game talk?

AM has game as you know averagedawg. Really looking forward to the overall improvement of our Dawgs. Really like Coach Richt's comments about Coach Grantham's fire on the sidelines. Takes me back a few years . . . . this is UGA, and we play Defense. We have the athletes averagedawg as you know, time to coach them up. Think the last five words in the last statement you have made more than anyone on this board. Agree, of course . . .

I still think Murray is going to win the job. Murray didn’t have a very good day. He wasn’t terrible, but he just wasn’t as sharp. However everything I’ve heard is that he’s been THE best all spring up until G-Day. Murray also is a very hard worker and puts in a ton of time studying film, etc. He wants it, and he’s a leader. I personally think that both Mett and Murray will see playing time this upcoming season regardless of who starts on Sept. 4th. They both used their redshirts last year and they both will have earned playing time by fall. I think the coaching staff will leave the decision up to Logan Gray whether to possibly switch positions by fall or to be third string, because let's face it. He's not quite as polished as he should be at this point, even with a good showing here and there. Hutson Mason will be coming in and from what I know, he's qualified for much more than a third string job... So either way, I'm comfortable with either Mett and/or Murray getting plenty of experience this year and I see next year being the real challenge for quarterbacks winning the most playing time. We are STACKED at QB by the LA-Lafeyette game regardless... more than the other SEC east schools.

Well, we all know AM will start the first game.

Mett did play better but AM had 3-4 dropped balls and two from OC of all people. OC should be pretty use to AM's passes, he caught enough of them in HS. Mett has a gun but I gotta tell ya, AM's velocity isn't much different. Also Murray's release is much quicker. Guess we'll see but still believe from the x's and o's point of view and reading D's, AM is way ahead......Mett just had a better day where AM has been doing it all spring.

The receiving corp looked pretty good overall. Wooten made some good catches and T. King made one great catch (and knew he was going to get drilled). The TE's are really good as well.....a few big time TE's that can all play. Thought Ealey ran hard and pretty elusive similar to KM.....good showing and think he's the starter over CK.

The D looked a little raw but love the aggressiveness and \"helter skelter\" reckless, get after em approach. Feel very confident this scheme and Grantham is going to be successful and opposing QB's are going to hate to try to figure out what is coming at them next. Should be fun and exciting to watch. You can tell they will give up a play or two but I also had the feeling that the D could shut you down as well.....believe we will see many more 3 and outs.

We are in good shape for 2010.......GREAT shape for 2011.
