Where is all of the G Day game talk?

Would love to hear what everyone thought about the game. I have been working TONS of overtime and have completely missed spring practice. I will be so glad when football season comes around. I am hearing that CTG has brought a lot of attitude and I can't wait to see how this QB competition turns out. I have also heard that CMR has gotten involved with the offense again. I know this bunch will have a learning curve, but even my friends who are UT fans know that the DAWGS will be barking this fall.

Man, there was so much to look at - there's really too much to look forward to. The defense looked superb, or the offense looked horrendous. I don't think Mettenberger had enough (if any) snaps with the first string offense, and Logan Grey had too many. Didn't see too much of Caleb King, and too much of Carlton Thomas. Lots of holes left in the defense and offense to fill. There is no clear cut starting QB in my mind. I'm really confused about what to think, although I will say that I was really impressed to see how much the defense had improved since watching them last year. Black team won 17 - 7.

How 'Bout Dem SEC Champion Dawgs!?

I don't think Caleb King saw any playing time, with the injury. Everything else was kind of confusing. I thought Mett had the best performance, but Gray had the most playing time. It was like the coaches were trying to throw everyone off or something. Thats what I took away from it. Just confused. There's a lot left to be worked on for sure...

Took some time today and watched the G-Day Game. I saw some very positive things with this group of UGA football players. Lots of talent, as we all know. After the South Carolina game, figure many questions will be answered.

Lots of talk about the QB position, should be, many folks from what I can discerne are in different camps. What this points out to me is, we have 3 capable young men that can run the offense. Best one . . . . will find that out in the fall. Will say this, glad that we have 3 young folks that can run the offense should injuries pop up. Heaven forbid.

Watching the game, noticed that A.J. made some very complimentary remarks about Mettenberger, same for a couple of others. Really glad that the approach thus far has been to make sure that the 3 can run our offense.

I am in the camp that wants to have a starter, best of the three, and that has to be and should fall on the shoulders of Coach Richt and Coach Bobo. Of course, that is the way it will be. Say this again, really glad that if #1 or #2 goes down, or both, we have a decent #3. Not many teams can say that. Watched Coach Richt for many years at FSU, he understands QB's, that is the reason he is back in the mix now, me thinks.

All three wear Red and Black with a touch of Silver. Most of us have thoughts of who #1 will be, glad that we have a choice THIS YEAR. I appreciate loyalty to seniors, but I definitely want the best players on the field.

Guess on my part . . . . think that we will see more than one QB playing probably all year. We aren't copying Urban, just think that as of now that is the way this competition is playing out.

Some have probably read this article below, found it to be interesting. Folks, this is a dadgum good team that has a chance to be better than good.

Murray didn't exactly shine but neither did David Greene a couple of times.
This game is more for the coaches than the fans.
It's good to hear Grantham talking fundamentals.
