Adams is Garbage

Hard to be a part of this board and not pick up on some insightful things (information) and not have it rub off on me. Lots of talent hereabouts wlayton, could name a hatful, suffice to say that this might not be the busiest board on the internet, it is by far the best board for Dawg talk . . . BY FAR. Glad to be a part.

Agree with you/wlayron - large sums of money always attract the greedy - it always starts small - but the more they get away with - the more they begin to take - and unfortunately we the contributors/taxpayers do not stand up and DEMAND it to STOP - the same goes for politicians - we won't even begin to start on them

Don't know if you read any of the post I made in #28594, it is worth a look. Adams is playing on the edges, close to the fire, just not close enough to get burned. Reminds me a lot of \"Slick Willy\" and his entourage. They get away with things that the common person or middle class folks would either be fined or dismissed for.

I have yet to hear anything come out of Adams' mouth that would make me want to shake his hand. Making those around him vulnerable to the public. Reminds me of a current Senator from New York making the following statement . . . \"We can do anything that we want to do\".

UGA athletes, all athletes, not just football, have a code and rules that they live by or they are given punishment. Much like Mettenberger, just finished up his early morning running and other things for his involvement in things that reflected on UGA because of his escapades in South Georgia. In comparison to what Adams has done over the years, would not make a spot on a gnats butt.

Adams is like the Senator from New York . . . . \"I can do anything that I want to do\". Check out some of the folks that Adams had sitting in his box for football, tell me how they contributed to UGA and the overall program. Look closely at his repaying the university for his son and the cost of the graduation party. Basically forced to repay.

Check out his dealings (quiet dealings) with purchase in Costa Rica. Also look at the buyout numbers involved with that. Beginning to wonder if Adams did not get his training from the \"Chicago\" way of doing business. Reminds me of Daley, in more ways than one.

Adams knows that when football season starts, there will be no heat on him, that is the nature of SEC Football. Folks concentrate on football when maybe they should keep an eye open to what the folks that control the purse strings are doing.

Changed the face of UGA football coaching this year, same should apply to Adams. HE IS NOT ONE OF US.

Said before, it will be interesting to see where this tailgating issue ends up. Adams is messing with a lot of potential dollars not finding their way to the UGA coffers. He will continue to get his 600K plus, so why worry . . . . Adams has his. Sad day when he was hired. Fourth of July Parade when his butt is fired.

averagedawg, when I first came to this site, you, wlayton, kentdaddy, dapolla, NC_Dawg and sadlerdawg really impressed me. (There are many more). You folks had been here long before I arrived, but truth told, after reading what you guys were posting, I was sold on this site. Through many 100's of posts, you folks have always been true to yourselves, UGA and this board. Impressive to say the least.

I have participated on some sites that kept my attention for a short time, but most ended up being a bunch of trash talkers and all about themselves. Much like the President of UGA.

The reason that I mention you guys is I agree with you. You folks are true to UGA and most importantly, yourselves.

The power brokers that you mention have blinders on, that is a damn fact. When they cross that bridge, they see nothing ahead but fame and fortune. It is good for an old fart like me to sit down to my computer and know that all of the above mentioned folks are around and not looking for power. I call it Brothers that understand, respect, and are more than willing to share the same FOX HOLE.

Hey yall, I am sure when the season starts all Adams Tailgate rules will apply to all of us except Adams himself and his Buddies!! I really wonder when people start coming to UGA for the first game this season how long its going to take before people wake up and realize just what he is doing to our traditions and take action!!
