3-4 Offense

3-4 Offense was created by DAWG1277
Ealey (3) & King (4)*with Ealey's number change this year.

Here is something to get your brains started this morning.

With the O-line this year(which I personally believe is the team strongest point)What do yall think the chances are of having both Ealey and King go for 1000+ yds? It's a no brainer if we run all year like we did against Yech last season. Just wanted to see what you fellas think...

I like the sound of the 3-4 O to go w/ the new 3-4 D!:cheer:

I like that too DAWG1277......very cool.;)

Two thoughts from me (for what it's worth)

1. It would be a very tough thing to do against SEC defenses (remember that was GT's D......BAD)

2. I believe CMR is going to eventually let AM run DJ's offense which is very balanced and not just \"run\" focused. But do believe we'll run the ball more the first 3 games and gradually open AM up into Shockley's offense........which I love to watch, VERY explosive. AM is the guy to run that offense and believe that style of offense is so hard to defend. Once AM is comfortable, I believe CMR will turn him loose.

I agree with wlayton. Having 2 RB's rush for 1,000yds is very tough no matter what league you play in. I also think that we have alot more playmakers on the offence that we have to get the ball to, and that will take away carries that they will need to reach that goal. I think you will see the same style of offence you seen with Charlie Ward and DJ. I think once AM gets used to the speed of the game, CMR will open things up a bit. This offence could be very dangers by the end of the year! Watch out!

I'm not interested in haveing 2 1000 yard runners - just an offense that can control the ball if that generates 2 1000 yard runners - fine

I'm glad we have a weak (possibly) game opener - hopefully it will allow the offense and defense to make some mistakes without it costing us the game

I'm trying not to get too excited about all this talk of good things - I expect we will have a transition year - expecially on defense

I just hope we progress good enough through the year to BEAT THEM GATORS

RabunDog, a lot of truth in your post.

If . . . if the 3/4 is working for us come JAX time, Brantley could have a tough time dealing with UGA. Noticed that \"Bean\" is moving to the defensive side of the ball, all 6'5\" and 330 pounds. Coach Richt seems to think that Bean will do well there. Somehow I have this thought in my head that one Coach Grantham had a huge hand in this players move to defense. ;)
