ADAMS crossing the line!!!!! (tailgating)

Hey Yall, I am really upset!! I just read an article where M. Adams has decided to start dictating how we tailgate in Athens. I am sorry but to me this is crossing the line!!! UGA fans have tailgated for yrs and yrs without his approval and we dont need it now!!!! We are not his children and should not be treated as children. Who does he think he is? If I had the link I would post it. But it said we would not be allowed to set up out tailgates unyil 4hrs before game time no tents and such on north campus and alot of other rules to go with it. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

I do wonder why the 4 hr before game - I might sugest NO tailgating at all - WHY - Last year I parked on the north side for the first time in many years - I was appauled at how trashed the campus was after the game - trash containers everywhere half full and trash all over the ground - Guess I'm just too old - Just feel like fans should have more respect for the campus than that - We always cleaned up when we tailgated years ago - Don't think limiting the starting to 4 hrs before the game will change the trash problem

I agree with with you on picking up after ourselves, no one likes to see the campus trashed. We always did our part of cleaning up after our tailgates. I just think its crazy for him to think he can Micro manage tailgating after we have paid our hard earned money at UGA ,I dont need Adams telling me how to spend my saturday in athens!!!!

I do wish they did not have to do this - it does take away from the game day atmosphere - I also think it might have been fustration by fans as the game I saw the mess was the Kentucky game - hopefully things will be better this year and fans will be able to tailgate again as always

Maybe we should all just go to Adams front yard and tailgate!! I know in the past, they didn't have ENOUGH trash cans. All of them were overflowing. Seems to me like to company they have doing the cleanup is NOT doing their job by not making sure the cans are emptied once they become full. But, I will say that some people do not pickup after themselves and they are the ones to blame for all this mess. We always have our own bags to put our trash in and after the game we take it to the nearest can and if it was full we just sit it out beside it. But thats the way it usually goes.....EVERYONE gets punished for the actions of others. EVERYONE NEEDS TO TAKE PRIDE IN THE APPEARANCE OF THE CAMPUS!

Unfortunately people just don't care anymore (for the most part). Imo, each progressing generation has gotten worse and worse........lazy, disrespectful, self absorbed and just flat doesn't care about much else but themselves. Now it causes all the rest to suffer that actually DO CARE.

I for one am sick and tired of all the \"me first\" attitudes without consideration for others......the older generations on this board certainly weren't raised that way......I would have got a BIG whoopin'.

(also want to clarify that I'm not making this an across the board generational statement.......I just see this \"stuff\" everyday throughout everyday!!!!)
