A THOUGHT OR TWO!!

I guess I'll add my $.02

1) I don't mind if they add more seats to Sanford. More revenue is always good. I don't believe it will take anything away from the experience. You can't see much if anything from the bridge now anyway.

2) I do not believe the Dawgs lack in talent. It just seemed that way. Anything having to do with the defense just looked bad under WM. There was a reason why people were calling for his head long before now. These guys just need to be coached.

3)The offense is going to be fine. I believe Bobo was hamstrung by Cox. I do however believe Ealy should be the featured back. I've said it before and will say it again.....I HATE, HATE, HATE running by committee. With Green, Wooten, Charles, White, Durham and Brown I think we are set we just need Murray to live up to expectations.

4)I am hoping that all this talk about the demise of the Georgia program has become locker room motivation for our guys. Why is it that the Dawgs have an off year and the media begins to write them off as a dying program.

This next season the east is wide open in my opinion. I honestly believe the Dawgs have a good shot at winning it. I'm guessing no more than 3 losses next season. Again it all comes down to the D and QB play.

Buc - thanks for laying it out in clear terms. I see the \"D\" and special teams giving the \"O\" a short field to work with so we don't have to have a 80 plus yard drive time and time again. I also see a vast improvement in take aways by the \"D\". A boost will also come from punt and KO coverage that does not put our \"D\" on the same short field for the other team. Our backs on \"O\" behind what will be one of the better lines in the country thank you CTS... never gets enough credit will open holes and block for a green QB.. which brings me to another point,using Bama this past year..we do not have to start a flashy QB...short passing game..low risk high percentage..turn and hand the ball off and let the hogs do there thing..make sound decisions.

It does get old hearing people talk about the demise after one bad year. (11-2, 10-3, then one 8-5 and we are done?) Everyone is sniffing UT's jocks right now.

Gee, who's coaching staff would you rather have today? Ours in a heartbeat. UT went 7-6 last year for goodness sake.

I will say it again:

1. Per capita, the best talent rich state in america
2. 4th most recruits in the country
3. 2nd most $$$$ athletic department in the nation
4. 2011 signees will be the best class in ten years in the state.

2010: 10-2 (9-3 if the QB play falls apart)
2011: 11-2 #1 In east. IF we win that game, BCS titile game.

BS, agree with you and wlayton. Think that our LB play is going to be outstanding. We have some guys that are reasonably fleet of foot and have good height and size to back up the 3 man front. Coach Grantham and new LB Coach Belin are going to teach these studs how to wrap-up. Bet the home on that. Cornelius Washington will shine this year.

BS- dead on ...don't want to be anything but a Dawg...our best is yet to come. There is not a program out there that I want to change places with, that includes Bama and Fla. It is like Mama said some times you can put to much wood on a fire and it won't burn any better. Both these programs will have a log jam of players. When a recruit looks at playing time? Love the word about our new LB coach recruiting in TN & TX. I can't wait until we get our payback recruit from TN- Hey Da Rick..learn to keep your chin strap real tight - Bite and Burn defense waiting to meet and greet ya. Go Dawgs !!
