A THOUGHT OR TWO!!

Welcome sign is always on,I truly think that CMR has regained alot of his early fire. Leadership by example, proof is hiring CTG and the other new coaches. Each bring an area of expertise,and share the same-whatever it takes to win is what we will do...practice will have a new sense and meaning also. This is were we learn and the teaching takes place.. not on Saturdays during the game. Word is Adams has ordered a replacement chapel bell as the one we have will be worn out by late October.

YD1, man , I live in Winder, about 25 minutes from Athens city limit, and when fall is here, I can walk out in my front yard, turn east, take a whiff, and smell football. My four year old girl has already been to two games!!!!!

BS, in the 1960's as a starting point, some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten came from roadside vendors. On our way to Athens, through Social Circle, would purchase many sandwiches on the way to Athens. One stand in Social Circle was our preferred place for chopped pork, got us further into the mood for the Red and Black. Just a great time of the year, hope we can return to something very similar . . . . soon. Go Dawgs!!

Well, I feel this is already a good year.
I was on my way to close on some land in Fannin County when I heard about the Grantham hire.
It feels good to own a little piece of home.

averagedawg, same thing can be said about you that I said about wlayton earlier. Some of us old timers \"just know\" when things are heading in the right direction.

This is not a shot at the younger posters, just wish that they had been around to watch \"Erk\" working the young guys prior to the game. Players like Bill Stanfield, Jake Scott. Tracks open, Bridge open, \"Erk\" working his magic. So much history runs through \"our\" veins, that includes young and old. Folks, we are headed back to that type of emotion . . . . Junkyard Defense.

In my heart I believe that Coach Grantham along with recently motivated Coach Richt are going to make all (young and old) proud again. UGA is a long and storied program, a program that should never, ever again allow itself to remove UGA from where it should be.

Might be that we are not National Champions, just coach and bring the \"spirit\" back to Athens. Has nothing to do with \"ticket prices\", has to do with pride. Too much tradition to allow some things that have happened in the recent past to discolor the University. WE ARE UGA, AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!!

Rambo, Hamilton, Ogletree and others, time to enjoy Athens, however remember this, in the stands there are folks that could be your grandfather/grandmother or uncle/aunt or brother/sister that ask one thing . . . . represent your school with pride. Be a part of what is UGA.
