averagedawg, I hope on hope that will not happen. You won me over some time back as to the talents of Coach Searels. You were spot on when you said that Coach Searels was the best. Know that new recruits will be disappointed if this happens. Players like Kolton Houston and others.

Break that damn check book out, cash if necessary and keep Coach Searels here. Folks we need this Coach on the offensive side, like we think we need Coach Grantham on the defensive side.

The BIG NASTIES are what make the running backs STARS. The BIG NASTIES are the dudes that protect those STAR QB's.

Coach Searels, say it again . . . . is just as important as Coach Grantham. Disagree . . . make your point . . . . don't need this averagedawg.

Guess we need to give wlayton a call, have him break out that crystal ball. I am with you averagedawg, hoping this one does not come to fruition. Coach Searels has done a masterful job maintaining that O line with the injuries they have had.

Here is hoping that Jeffrey Whitaker signs with UGA. Note that Auburn is being seriously considered also. If memory serves me correctly, Jeffrey and Abry Jones played for the same high school. Here is hoping that the first real recruiting impact that Coach Grantham has on our program is signing JW. JW is perfect for the 3/? defense, think that he will play as a freshman.

Biography:
Jeffrey Whitaker finished his junior season with 40 tackles and 15 tackles. He has incredible strength and benches 405-pounds and squats 565; Claims a 27-inch vertical jump.

2007: Whitaker made 50 tackles and added one sack during his sophomore year.

Whitaker says he plans to major in business management and reports a 2.7 core GPA. He took the ACT on Sept. 12.

Whitaker: “I’m gonna get down to 290 by the end of summer. I also want to improve my hands and technique.”

“I love the competition though. I always try to bring it because I want to continue to prove myself. I’m explosive and real powerful plus I’m a real hard worker.

“I just do what I can to beat that man in front of me. On the field that’s all I’m thinking about.”

Short time ago David Hale said that Coach Rodney Garner will coach the defensive line, as announced by Coach Grantham. Also said that they will hire a linebacker coach. Folks this is getting better all the time in my opinion. Excited that Coach Garner is staying with the program, need him for his expertise and his ability to recruit talent. Apparently the meeting between Coach Garner and Coach Grantham went well.

He is athletic enough to return kicks also. means he can be a playmaker. Remember watching Rambo when he got some playing time. Didin't he lead all DB's in picks even though he didn't start???? means he has a nose for the ball.

If Rambo and JHam can start back there with Boykin and B. Smith at the CB's, man, what a defensive backfield. We should be able to go man, rush 5, and still leave 4 zoned players with the 2 CB's man.

No throwing lanes. No WR open.
Or heck, bring four and leave 7 back with two WR's blanketed.

Someone convince me that our two RB's are the answer. I am still not 100% sold. was the last few games a mirage? or the real thing? I would still love to get Lattimore but not gonna happen.
