Why I like the DB hire

I think getting assistant coaches who have only been at smaller schools is a good idea (This guy from UCONN). Our program had gotten stale; coaches were comfortable. A new DC will give us a few years of being hungry, while the assistant coaches who are getting their first time at a big program will be VERY hungry. My calculations tell me we have room for a DE coach. If we can't get Travis Jones, let's look at a small school (1-AA, or Conference USA, for example. They will be hundry!!! Just like Urban Meyer is hungry.
