We are so Lucky to Have CMR

Hey Yall, I was just sitting here thinking and UGA is truly lucky to have CMR ,and I know that is no surprise, but after this year he has taken alot of abuse. And I understand why, But the reason We are lucky to have him is the same reason we went through what we went through this year IMO, CMR is a true man of his word and his beliefs. He does not do things the easy way or the short cut he does what he thinks is right, and treats people better than they should be treated in some cases, But that is CMR. So even though I was never in favor of CWM even from the begining I new why he hired him, The same reason he let JC play all yr. He is a fair man who believes in giving people a chance which I cant totally fault but sometimes in business you cant do that because you get blinded which came to bite him and us this yr. I believe because he played behind jim kelly during his college career he felt like he needed to give JC longer than he deserved IMO. I think he knew what it felt like to never get a real shot. I truly believe God is on CMRs side and wont let him down. Therefore I believe we will get threw this and the best is yet to come, for I believe all good things come to those who do things the right way. They dont make um like CMR anymore, and dont get me wrong I have been just as upset as anyone this yr as yall know but in the end We are very lucky I feel to have him, He will right the ship I believe.

I agree with you but I never thought CMR did a poor job last year. We were just a little down. JC was our best choice for the year a QB. CMR made the right call on that now we have the two high school stud ob's that have been in the system and learned and we are ready for the future.

What about the decision to start MS his freshman year instead of Joe T? Getting a freshman QB the experience did well for the team. IMO, CMR should have given more snaps to LG to get him some exp.

Well first of all Joe T was horrible much worse than JC, couldnt even justify him starting, plus LG hasnt waited half as long as JC did, And I think murray should have played this yr after the fla especially, but my point being he does things based on principal and not because it is better for himself, Like NS or Kiffen or petrino or smart. He does things the right way regardless of his own
siuation in his eyes which is rare to find these days, alot of coaches these days do things for there own resumes or agendas to advance themselves regardless of the cost to others. I am just saying CMR is a coach I respect, He is not a sell out like we are seeing at other schools right now!!

I agree with you about CMR. There is no argument there. In SEC football, it doesn't matter how long a QB, or any other player, has waited to get the starting job. What is gonna be best for the program long term? JC because he's waited or put murray and LG out there and see who's gonna be best long term. It's all hindsite and CMR did what he thought was best for the program. Interested to see what next year holds. Looking forward to it.

Hey guys first post. I have lurked the forum for about a year now.

First of I think JC took alot of heat for things that were not his fault. We threw the ball more this year then we ever did with Stafford. JC was a leader even if he wasn't the greatest QB. CMR knows what the SEC would have done to AM as a freshman. AM now has sat on the side lines and entire season and watch the SEC in action. He has had a whole year to learn our offense and I think it will make him a better QB.

I have alot of respect for CMR. I have all my faith that we will be a better team next year and honestly we weren't that bad this year. We had a few very close ones that we could have won. Easily could have been a 10 game season.

CMR is a good coach and you cannot argue with success. Were we disappointed in the season we had? Yes but last year we lost MS and KM. That hurts to lose two great starters. Not to mention DE on defense. We will come back guys and CMR will lead us back.
