Even the makeshift D is better than Willie

This game pretty much vindicates everyone who has been calling for Willie's head for the past 3 years. The same team only allowed 14 points against an offense that was supposed to put up 30 on us.

It makes me feel good about next year when we'll have a much better defensive coordinator in place.

But ,It makes you think WHY didnt we have a STRONG enough AD to CALL for a change long ago when even the fans new it was time, but chose to do nothing untill it was to late? We should have had a new DC at the begining of this year!!! Just hope we make the right choice!!

Yeah and I was glad that they did smack them down, for some reason A&M fans have been talking crap since the game was announced about how they were going to put up 600 yards and 50 points.

The Bulldogs proved tonight that having no defensive coordinator is better than having Willie Martinez coaching your defense.

It does make me sad, knowing that we could have had this defense the entire year......I hope Richt learned a lesson, never let friendship cloud your judgment.......

A&M still dominated TOP and number of plays along with total yardage. Our special teams won this game along with depth and the ability to wear down the Aggie D towards the end.

I was happy to see some interceptions, but still not impressed with the D. I eagerly anticipate the arival of a top notch D coordinator, but loathe the possibility of growing pains and mistakes a scheme change will bring. We all got what we wanted, but cannot expect perfection in the transition.

We still have a long way to go in next year folks.

I was impressed this defense was in position to make plays! All year they looked lost in willies schemes but tonight they looked like they were in the right places to make those plays, lets not forget that there were a couple of other missed opportunities that would have resulted in them having more turnovers.

The D showed me something, with a little work they can be a smash mouth unit.

Agree we could have had a few more INT's and forced a few fumbles, but shoulda, coulda, woulda.

Bottom line is special teams won this game. It's a results driven game and they got it done.

BTW... Why was Curran not playing in the 1st quarter? I missed that.
